Hi, I am new to this blogging stuff so pardon me if I don't do something correctly. I have a 1976 280z with the standard L6 EFI motor that I have just finished restoring. The entire engine was totally rebuilt and is up to new specs. The car runs fine except for one annoying problem. When I take my foot off the gas pedal, the engine RPM's hang at about 2,000 or sometimes even 2,500 for a few seconds before returning to idle speed of 800. Does anyone know what causes this problem?
Thanks,
John
