  1. I have a 76 EFI harness in my Z but I got a ZX motor set, would I be able to use my ZX AFM with this harness if I use the ZX ECU?
  2. Wow I fell off the wagon. I left for Japan in 2013 for military duties but I recently returned. I sold the old l28 out the car because it was junk. I whipped it out of my parents garage and started to bust some rust out I bought an old S130 for the motor and trans, I am parting this car out by the way. Now I got the motor in and i'm just fixing ghetto stuff and making sure everything will work perfectly As it sits now Still need to find a 75-77 AFM, fill up the fluids, and finishing fixing up my body harness. I can't wait to drive this thing!
  3. I picked this Z up for $2,000 but I've had to leave it home in FL because I don't have to room to take with me yet. It had a messy harness, but with some help on here and long nights studying the diagrams I finally got it to start. Now to pics: This was the day after I brought it home [ Now here if the video. I was told it wasn't started for a few years but it started right up! Still gotta work out the kinks
  4. I'm going to set up an external fuel pump and sump my gas tank, the only thing I want to know is if the stock 260z pump would keep the car running, it'll be the first time it starts in a few years.
  5. Thanks man Is there anyway to know if the ecu is working? I spliced everything to together to try and fire it up but I didn't get any spark or fuel, I used the harness on the ignition switch. I know the pump work because i ran a wire from the battery to the pump to test it, there was a ruptured line and fuel sprayed out so I know it works. I don't know if I need it be i'm missing a condenser, I think I may have an N/A coil.
  6. I got a lot of the stuff fixed, I'm a little confused, I got this setup for the Fuel pump. Bought a relay for it and wired it like this, the blue/red stripe wire is the switch for the relay to power the pump. the green wire goes straight to the pump. from both relay and connector, the black/white wire is for a switched 12v, can I just splice it into the harness behind the ignition switch?
  7. It's a pain in the **** but I'm repairing the harness, it isn't that bad I'm just short a few connectors. The plan for now will be to get it to start and move before I head back to Virginia.
  8. So it's an L26? and btw does it have a newer gas tank for EFI?
