Do you still have these? And are the Z31T axles the same spline count as the ZXT axles? (29 I think). I'd be interested in the axles and the companion flanges if you still have them all.

I'm a little late to the party...but I have the SRP pedals installed. It's a very clean look and the install is pretty painless (though it is a bit of a pain to drill the holes straight while hunched under the dash). If you heel/toe a lot you'll really love them. I have a 280 so everything tends to be bigger

Datsun Parts LLC is notorious for falsely advertising parts, shotty workmanship and blanket denials when confronted with evidence of defects. If you buy a motor from him you have to be smoking crack...I personally know of 3 people who purchased motors from him and none were satisifed. One was a leaker...the other two didn't run...besides...you can barely build a Stroker for what he sells them for. Avoid him @ all costs.

And to answer the lingering question the film is about two guys who own a 280Z...not just a film about a Z car. I shot that film in 2005... but that was just a short. I'm still trying to raise the funding for the feature which will have several scenes/stunts/chases just for the Z guys...but this isn't the best economy to try and raise a few million dollars. I'm presently editing a TV show pilot I've just conceived about Z cars and the Datsun Hobby... it's called "Zchweet". I filmed it at "The San Diego Scramble" which was a massive Z car event I did for my Z car club "The WestSide Z car Coalition". the San Diego Scramble ...the sites a little raunchy, but a lot of the SoCal Z car clubs have become a bit pedestrian...so I'm trying to mix it up a little. ...and I'm not just shooting pretty pictures of Z cars; I'm trying to capture the hobby in the correct light so that it and Z cars get the respect they deserve. Yes I have the correct cable, it turns out that the alligator clips were too large and touching the sides of the DB-9, so now I'm all good (for now)...thank guys.

I have a V3 megasquirt that I'm assembling and when I attempt to test the hyperterminal connection I get a lot of strange characters. I set the values as follows: Baud Rate 115200 data bits 8 parity none stop bits 1 flow control none ....I also went into the device manager and under the advanced tab of the port setttings I set the buffer to it's lowest level (1)....(after perusing the instructions)... and I still get the crazy characters. can you steer me in the right direction?
