Where did you get your hatch to body seal at? My seal is entirely gone. The hatch vibrates when going over bumps and what not.

i would check out the west coast. i see tons of 240z for sale on craigslist near me(inland empire) for less than 2k. some in really good condition. im sure you would be able to ship to your place for a reasonable price.

no i ended up getting another 73 240z for about 1.5 grand. ls1 swap in progress. redoing the suspension right now, dropping the motor in next month (hopefully). for what i wanted this one didn't seem right. i think someone picked it up about a week or so after i took a look at it. maybe its someone on here??

The paint looked at least a few years old. I live in Southern California and it'll be a weekend car so I'm not too worried about the weather being a factor, but you do make a good point about not being able to talk my way out of tickets with that interior. It'll take me a week to gather the bones but I think I'm gonna go for it guys.

300-350 hp is what my goal would be nothing too extreme a sbc drop or something similar. Ya know just enough to dust most the jerks who pull up next to me. Would parting out the engine be a decent way to make back some of the money?
