  1. WOW Time for a jig and tig! Did you have to get towed? Sorry about your luck!
  2. That would be pretty neat, but most Z31 owners would attempt to build this themselves - we are just too cheap - no joke, just serious business
  3. is not driving the Z since I am on the computer......

  4. This is me from not reading enough on the Nistune Forums.....
  5. I was hoping I would be the first person in Cleveland with Nistune HAHAHAHA The lower ohm is to control the duty cycle of the injectors as an initial starting point in tuning the ecu, are they the stock injectors? I would assume you are running the car in sequential operation, if so, you can back the duty cycle down with the Nistune. I have an 87 turbo I just swapped a t-5 and rebuilt turbo motor into, I am hunting for another ecu to drive on so I can install Nistune. If you need any help tuning it, please let me know - I would love to check out the program and see what I am getting into! I live in Parma.
  6. If you find out, please let us all know!!! Your time is appreciated! The Nico site seemed kind of goofy to me, more show cars and stuff. There are some really well engineered cars on the site though, especially in that forum. Their ride of the month was a guy in asia who did a vh45de and had to fabricate an entire front end of a truck to get the motor to fit correctly........pretty impressive. Its not just a bunch of FFF's, some forum people actually know their stuff! I am more concerned about actually getting the VH motor to fit. I have another parts Z31 that I am cutting up this weekend. I am going to keep the front half to use as a platform to fabricate with. Should be interesting.
  7. Check this site out. It is connected to the NICO site, but if you dig into the VH/VK threads, there is some really good information. A couple of the Z32 guys on hybridz frequent that forum also.....pretty awesome what some of them have done. A couple of guys are planning twin turbo vh45s, some have dry sump systems etc etc.
  8. When are you starting your project?
  9. More than likely, it is a bad lifter. If you have a valve "lightly tapping" a piston......you need to check your timing belt, if your timing is off - the valve will probably "lightly tap" throught the piston.
  10. I paid about $150.00 total for my pipes and intercooler, maybe a little over that with shipping. If you are patient, you will find auctions where you can make a best offer and maybe get stuff a little cheaper. Remember that not too many people are spending money right now.
