  1. The install was straightforward and they work great. The diode wire had to be reversed as noted above to get the brights to work. The city lights look wicked in the early evening hours!
  2. I picked mine up in Tucson Az and drove it back to Ga. Stock engine, SU's, no problems on the trip. It was the most enjoyable road trip I have had. Mileage was in the mid 20's. The only issue I had on the trip was trying to leave the gas stations, it seems everyone has a Z story to share. I was originally looking for a V8 car before finding this one. I had every intention of doing the conversion until about midway through the trip when I finally realized what Mr. K had given us. The Z is such a well balanced machine, sure I love HP as much as the next guy (510 with a Turbo Tom L28 was my last Datsun) but I am learning to appreciate what the Z isn't......it isn't heavy, overpowered, complicated and most importantly, it isn't for everyone. Yet it's funny how Z's seem to affect everyone......
  3. check your msg's. i wasn't sure on the rules for posting particular shops, etc. As far as the build, I think that is an awesome idea. I love high HP cars but to really appreciate the original design, drive an N/A version. I had a couple of 510's, one L20B with Mikunis and the other had a turbo's L28 squeezed in it. The turbo car was incredibly fast but driving it was a chore. The N/A car was a dream to drive. Balancing it at its limit and just appreciating the car in its time of design make for an awesome drive. Some one needs to keep that era alive
  4. They are the FX1 Pro i believe. They might fit...I am 6'3 with a 33 in waist and have plenty of room. The Corbeau sit states the regular FX1 will fit up to a 38 in waist while the FX1W (comes in black only) fits up to a 42 in. Cheers, Steve
  5. Looking left to right, fuel pump, empty, Black knobs are choke cables for the SU's and fan override
  6. Corbeau seats..The shoulder wing is a little wide and barely touches the door when closed. They are great driving seats but horrible traveling seats. I drove cross country and they left a lot to be disired! But for mountain driving they are excellent!! I did not do the install so I am not sure what it took to get them in there. But when doing an install make sure you try closing the door with the seat in place to make sure it doesn't touch.
  7. And with the upgraded shifter knob.
