  1. If it has garrett internals I would be interested. Where are you located? Let me know your price.

Also, email me some pics at darkzebra@verizon.net, and let me know the full specs and condition. Also, if you have the model number.

  2. thanks for the info 510six!! that little tip will probably keep me from hitting a wall when i'm testing out the nitrous after install.
  3. thanks for the info. i run 20 psi with a t3/t04 turbo. my friend is getting rid of his direct port set up and i was hoping i could utilize it on my 280
  4. Hello everyone! this might sound crazy and i am not exactly an expert with this engine but what type of internal mods will be needed to hold at least a 50 or 75 shot of nitrous? The last thing i want is a blown engine because i didn't know the limits of this engine. thanks!!!
  5. i want to upgrade my 280zx to a larger throttle body. will the sr20 tb work the same as the ka24? i know i need to have an adapter made but do those engines use the same tb? thanks for the help!!
  6. oh snap Tony's in the triangle. too bad you cant kick it. it'd be hella intersting to talk to you. thanks for all the information!! the more stock looking=PASSES SMOG REF. long as errythin works good. thanks a lot! you've been a HUGE help
  7. alright lets say the smog ref passes the visual with the fuel system, will the t3/t4 hybrid be a problem even though the original l28et had a t3 mounted on it? and i was going to weld pretty much everything on the exhaust; do you think i should make space to have the cat a bolt on? i don't mind having it as part of the system since it will be a high flow cat anyways?
  8. hey tony does it matter what parts i add in terms of upgrades? i mean i'm going to run a T3/T4 w/ turbo pistons, after-market fuel system, and MSnS. I'm also planning on running a custom exhaust. I'm assuming i'm supposed to also fab an exhaust that will use a converter? also, what kind of set up are you running may i ask? thanks for the info!!
  9. hey ben do you or your friend know any place in sac that dosent care about the visual and what? one of my friend's dad's owns a shop where they do smog and everything but he is going off to college. just any suggestions could help. thanks!
  10. great!! thanks for the info guys.. all this has been a big help
  11. hii i'm kind of new to the whole z scene but do the manifolds coming off the p90 and n47 line up the same? i understand the p90 can handle more power but how large of a gap is it? i'm shooting for around 300-350 at the wheels. will the p90 be that vital to the car's performance?
  12. i'm not too sure how smog works to be honest on the record keeping side. i want to try getting away with the turbo but it will mess up the engine if i pull the after market fuel system. i might just revert everything to stock come that time or try to register it out of state
  13. oh i didnt add the fact that i am going to use turbo forged pistons which is the only real big difference between the engines. the heads are similar in compression and so is the block. i'm just going to do as full turbo upgrade and jus take it all out every 2 years. i mean run a t3/t4 intercooled with a turbo intake manifold, bigger injectors, fuel pump, custom fuel rail, independent comp. management, custom exhaust, etc. should run good. i'm shootin for 300-350 at the wheels. i'm in south sac kinda north of elk grove. i need to double check the stuff i'm adding but hopefully it will work out
  14. thanks for the advice but i found the answer
