  2. are the afms the same for an l28et and an l28e. i tried to search but didnt find anything. thanks.
  3. when u say lower it. do u mean coilovers or springs. that car on some good coilovers is sex.
  4. thanks all. careless: if you know the guy who might want these rims lemmie know who it is. i am not attached to them at all. mr jdm: prolly c u around hundredpercent: round 6k
  5. are there other mafs that can replace the stock l28et maf my just rewiring it to a different plug without changing the ECU? kind of like how i can put a Z32TT maf on my SR?
  6. ya i didnt think about why they had to be welded. i thought they were being cheap or something, but when i looked at the pix again i saw that the spindle is connected. i am now researching which companmy i want to go with. I think i like the AZ Zcar product better.
  7. thanks after looking at the pix again I realize why AZ Zcar and GC don't sell a plug n play, b/c then they would have to make and sell the coilovers with the spindle on the bottom and that would cost us much more. I am way too used to my S13.
  8. i did research this for the last 1/2 hour and it seems like all the coilovers you have to cut and weld. i want to know this...... besides the cutting and welding for the camber plates, are there any coilovers that bolt right in with no camber plates. eventually camber plates can obviously. but if there is who makes them. thanks
  9. main cap? head to block specs is what i need. maybe thats just different terminology but idk lemmie know. thanks
  10. not to steel your thread but whats the torque spec for the regular studs, i dont think they are the same are they?
  11. my fmic is actually a 2.5 inlet and outlet. i am going to grab a taurus fan so i will have plenty of room. how do u use all silicon piping. do you have any pix of your setup?
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FMIC-INTERCOOLER-24X12X3-BAR-PLATE-SUPRA-RX7-3000GT_W0QQitemZ170167651564QQihZ007QQcategoryZ33742QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem thats pretty much the fmic i have. i will be running the piping between the radiator and motor. which i/c piping set should i get so that i would not have to buy extra piping. i am assuming anyone with an ebay fabricated fmic would know. i just don't want to make some one elses mistake and buy the wrong one. here are a few options. any recommendations very welcome. #1.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Anysize-intercooler-piping-pipe-for-2-2-5-2-75-3_W0QQitemZ290179009295QQihZ019QQcategoryZ33742QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem #2.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-5-Elbow-Coupler-Intercooler-Piping-Kit-Camaro-Escort_W0QQitemZ120181269100QQihZ002QQcategoryZ33742QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem #3.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALUM-2-5-INTERCOOLER-PIPING-KIT-INTEGRA-RSX-ECLIPSE_W0QQitemZ110190224007QQihZ001QQcategoryZ33742QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem there might be more options but i didn't see them all. i am hoping to find someone who has done this already and knows exactly whats the best. doesn't even have to be ebay.
  13. so i took the head off. thanks for all of your help. i didnt see any obvious leaks in the HG. i wasnt burning coolent or anything but my car was always runing HOT. and when it was on and i had the rad cap open and i tap the gas, i had bubbles immediatley come out of the coolent which is a strong sign of HG. so idk i cant see anything thats obvious and i will be getting the head checked out within a few days. hopefully, if the head is not warped and i put it back together its good.
  14. so I don't even need to take the chain off the crank. and does the cam gear only go on the cam in 1 way?
  15. So I'm about to take the head off. I believe its at TDC. In order to put it back on correctly later im going to mark the chain and cam to match them up later and the chain and crank. unless there is a better way. My question is how do i go about correctly releasing the tension off the chain to take it off. Also whats the correct way to put the tension back on. Any pointers will be appreciated about anything pertaining to the HG job. I searched and didn't find much as far as DIY guide.
