I just pulled my alternator, it is a Hitachi model LR180-731B...connected to the RB20 in my 72 240z. Anyone know what this model was original to? I've googled but do not see this specific one pop up. Anyway, I need a new one. Any other Hitachis that have the same specs?

Is the driver side locking nut right or left threaded on a 1983 280zx? I can't get it loose.

I recently purchased a 72 with an RB20 swap. Car runs really strong but needs steering work. I suspect that I need a new R&P. Are there options for something other than an original part swap? I also need a whole new suspension but it looks like there is already plenty of information posted on that topic. Thanks in advance.
