Mellow Yellow

My 83 N/A, shown in post #179 of this thread, turned 16.1 in September of this year. She WAS 100% original until July 6, 2009 when a woman backed into me at 25MPH. She's fixed now, just no longer 100% original, still has only 63,000miles on her. I also have an 83 2+2 turbo car that ran 15.1, with 3 inch exhaust, and aluminum flywheel.

Could you have used a wider tire? Or are there clearance issues with the suspension?

What size are your rims? What brand are they? And what rubber are you using? I have an 83 I'm planning on putting a V8 in and have been concerned about getting the power to the ground.

Thank you! The guy, obviously, took great care of it. the last 5 years he owned it he put an average of 250 miles per year. he hurt his knees and couldn't get in and out so he decided to sell. I paid a premium for her but I think it was worth it. All the under side bolts have the zink plating on them, even the exhaust hangers. The year I bought her I just cleaned her up and showed up at the Z show in Syracuse NY. She got 265 points. I was happy considering most of her competition had been repainted. Now if I can find money to complete my 2+2.

Only 2. Still have them both. One is bone stock and 100% original except for the exhaust that was replaced this past June. The other is in pieces. Needs major reconstruction. Have all the parts just need time and $$. When metal work finished it's getting a cage then an LS 2.
