  1. The350z: are you using the muscle car oil pan then? Hows the clearance under the car?
  2. Guys: has anyone tried the GM performance hot rod oil pan kit #19212593?
  3. I got one in sask, canada, pm'd me for pics, it's off an early 260z I think they are the same, shipping will hurt but in case you can't find one elsewhere
  4. Tony D, any idea how big of a stroke one might be able to run inside a l series block? Even if some of the crankcase would have to be ground that's wouldn't be an issue, I have a very capable machinist. Maybe I will still try to go ahead and get a quote from scat at the very least, although I still do not have that measurements I asked for originally, I have my P30 block almost completely disassembled. I will post up every single measurement one might need to get a custom crankshaft made in the very near future!
  5. Here ya go! http://m.ebay.ca/itm/221370447424?nav=SEARCH
  6. Yeah I am pretty new here, under a year anyways, I'm on here like 6 times a day though hah. I know everyone always says search search search, I didn't even bother checking I just figured I would hammer out that message as it was a subject of conversation anyways. Nonetheless I'll check out what PMC is doing thanks for the pointer guys!
  7. THAT ^ is much cool, very wow. I wonder how much it would be to get a plate made like that with correct oil and water passages for an L engine, then we could maybe use an LD crank and longer rods and get a large displacement maybe even close to the 3.4litres Rebello will be making?!
  8. What does he mean by a tall deck block? One that is not planed I guess? Or maybe it is a stock diesel block?
  9. Very cool graphitez, I wonder how much he would have paid for that. I don't think they mentioned it in the video but they did say they might start producing some kits but of course they will be more expensive than the regular 3.1 kit, maybe I will just hold out for the 3.35l kit that sounds amazing!
  10. well thanks everyone for all the information, my machinist told me he had just some regular old SBC ones cut from scat to his specifications, and he said his was a touch over 1000, if it was that much I might be interested, seeing as most LD28 cranks are upwards of 600 or more if you can find them which has proved being a real chore. But you guys are saying 3-4000 which is a little out of my price range
  11. Hey everyone, I'm trying to get a quote from SCAT for a custom crankshaft ground to LD28 specifications, I have done a bunch of googling and cant seem to find the remaining specs that I need, Rod journal width Rod width itself I do not have my L24 or L26 apart right now to measure them so if anyone has any insight I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance, Ryan
  12. Me too! I'm just getting in line
