  1. well i bought my shell for 500 my motor for 500+200 for the carb driveshaft cost me 60 TH350 cost me 100 w/ converter and misc welding cost around 100
  2. ill have to check it when i get back to the house...i think last time it was running the gauge was around 7-9 psi
  3. ive got a demon 750 on my engine, and i cannot seem to get this thing to stop running rich. it is constantly fouling out plugs. and whenever i do get it running smoothly it only last a few days, then begins to run like crap again. any hints on tuning these?
  4. this car is amazing... im really liking all of the Z32 swaps ive seen
  5. dont think the mild 350 on nitrous is going to be enough. so i want to start on a turbo build. so heres what im looking for. what would be the best combo of parts for a good turbo build? id like to be able to rev to atleast 6500-7000. and i want to hold maybe 600rwhp. ive never done a SBC build. so im not sure of the heads/cam combo that would yield the best performance with a set of turbos.
  6. looks great, definitely waiting to see this car out on the road
  7. that is crazy, i cant believe how it all fits in there... hell of a sleeper, you'd never know by looking at it
  8. ok...that doesnt seem right at all, but ok...never heard a 75jet knocking off damn near 1.5 seconds. or even running near that stock with a car that heavy. hell my old notchback didnt run 13's with a stock 302. anyways, back on topic.... i think high 13's low 14's would probably be the ballpark for a bone stock 350 in a Z(probly an old truck motor like ive seen alot of people selling around here) hell, im hoping just to hit low 13's with the setup i have now...(minus the nitrous)
  9. i did hold one of them still...the ratio just doesnt seem right to me
  10. so, i finally decided to put the 280 in the air and check the gearing in the axle...i used the spin the tire and count the revolutions method. i know its not exact, but i wanted a ballpark figure... after checking and rechecking about 6 or 7 times, i had my boss come over and get a second opinion... it came out to be just about 2 driveshaft revolutions to make one tire revolution... so its saying i have around a 2.00:1 gearing!!!! this cant be right, someone tell me im crazy and that they never made a gearset that low.... because with that gearing ill be shifting into second at 88mph, into 3rd at 145mph, and 3rd will run out of gear at 240mph...noooooway this can be right
  11. ok, well that helps some... especially since the car probly wont be doing to many launches from a dig im not to familiar with Nissan Diffs...is there a pretty obvious way to tell if i have the 180 or the 200? i cant find a clear enough image in those other threads.
  12. ok, i have an 82 280zx (was a 5 speed car if that makes a difference)... with sb 350/th350 w/ cam a couple other bolt-ons along with a 150 shot...and the car will be getting drag radials soon... im just trying to gauge if i am going to be needed to throw something stronger in there right away or if ill should be fine for a while?
  13. we have an early 90's 300zx at the shop, and my boss wants to begin putting a small block in... are there any good kits availible for it? or any write ups on here?
