So while attempting to get my 260 running I managed to flood the engine. Upon removal of cylinder #3 spark plug I noticed something on top of the piston. Using a borescope I could see what looked like chunks of dirt and fuel scattered across the piston head. I used a small pick to remove as much of the material as possible and cant identify what it is. It smells a bit like oil but has the consistency of wet dirt. Using a magnifying glass I'm able to see clear copper colored crystals in the brown substance. I had the engine running about 8 months ago and I don't recall seeing this substance inside the bore. Has anybody ever seen this before?
