Hi all I’m 18 and have a 82, 280zx turbo with what I have been told is an exhaust leak in the exhaust manifold gasket. I do not have the cash to go and pay someone to fix this and I am willing to put a significant amount of effort into the repair. I do not have much I the way of experience but am willing to try. What I would like to know is how difficult this is going to be. I am assuming that I will have to take off the intake manifold in order to get at the exhaust manifold beneath. If there is anything else anyone has to share I would love to have their input. Anyway thanks for the help.

Hi, all I'm in the process of getting my 280ZX road worthy and was wondering what the best way to go about changing out the old belts is? Any help is welcome. I did some searching but did not turn too much up so if someone could link me to another thread that would be great. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the replies, I was hoping to be able to get around 250 hp. I am a fairly good welder and think that welding up some tube is within my ability. What are some good salvage intercoolers?

Thanks, I was wondering about that. One other quick question what are these "npr" intercoolers I keep hearing about? and are they that much better then a good salvage intercooler.

I have been searching I was just wondering if anyone would like to give an over view for a noob who may not know everything to look for. However point well taken.
