  1. I am running the Imagine wheels from Motorsport auto 17" rims. 17" is a must for the bigger rotors.
  2. I have put over 70,000 miles on the AZC Willwood brake kit front and rear. The only issue I had daily driving was keeping the brakes warm when cold and rainy. I had to make sure I tapped them a couple of times on the interstate to keep them warm.
  3. I do not see what year car you have. Anyhoo, If you have the 5 speed tranny, you should get 28mpg on the highway no matter how you drive. Most common part failure that would cause this issue is the head temp sensor or Head temp sensor harness. It depends on what year you have to where the head temp sensor is located. Early year models are in the thermostat housing and the older year models are between plug 5 and 6 on the head, passenger side. Another thing to check is you injector harnesses. If they are corroded and green, get some replacements ends and splice them in.
  4. Funny, after that introduction to the " I am at 6:10 min. in I figured you would be on it a little harder......LOL At the end I saw why, the old blue light special.
  5. I had both of mine done for 1900. All hand made to look factory with new frame rails, also custom made. After he was done with my car, he said the price was going up!!!! LOL
  6. It could be the Air regulator, 7th injector (cold start injector), head temp sensor, fuel pressure regulator, or you may have a vaccum leak somewhere. Had this happen before but it has been a while. Pull the plugs, are they gas soaked or fouled?
  7. Just went through my system today. I blew my right knee out about eight months ago and finally recovering from knee surgery on Oct. 16. The link to the Datsun manuals were Key. Everything I needed was in the PDF file. Think I finally have it squared away, we shall see. Bad connection on C5. Dielectric grease and she should be good to go.
  8. Phil, you got it squared away yet? Waiting to hear it purrrr through the gears.
  9. Buy what you can afford. Overkill on brakes is a good thing. I had the solid rotors and Toyota 4x4 calipers up front with the 280zx rotors, calipers, etc. on the back with a adjustable proportioning valve. I hated that setup. This time I just went for the gusto and bought the Willwood setup and used the upgraded MC. Haven't looked back since and enjoying the setup. The vented fronts and 240sx rears may be real good. I just didn't want to take a chance on that setup. I am hard on brakes...LOL
  10. I have ran my liquid cooled turbo through the heater hoses for about 10 years, same turbo. The only thing you will need to buy is an H pipe adaptor so if your heater valve is off your coolant will still flow to the turbo.
  11. That is exactly what they used it for. The bike I used to own had one. It was a Honda CBR 954RR.
  12. Yes I have one. I see the relay in passenger side kickpannel. I am almost sure mine has been disabled. The problem is I get a low voltage at the starter trigger wire (10.5 volts) hence the no start. If they make the relay stay on all the time I may have a bad contact on the relay. I really need a Datsun wiring diagram. The place that I worked as a tech (Nissan dealer) threw there old Datsun manuals away cause someone deceided to clean up.... go figure.... Even my older fellow Tech's couldn't believe it.
  13. I have this intermittent no start on my 1975 280z. Anybody have the wire colors to check. My red pushbutton switch is gone, hence the screwdriver in the car...LOL I think i see where it used to go on the passenger fenderwell, I am just not sure. Link to the book would be great.
