Enchanced 280Z

Hello! I'm considering to purchase a upgraded ignition system for my L28. And I'm currently looking into the MSD 6AL-2, I thought someone here might have some experience with the -2 specificially, the newer version of the 6AL. I know the 6AL is very popular but I've heard that the newer version has some reliability issues? Has anyone experienced any of that? Also, I'm curious how the 2-step/launch control work on these? If so how easy is it to hook up to a stock L28. All input is very much appriciated.
