well i might be getting my motor rebuilt soon anyways but thanks for all the advise now i need to find a good place to get my motor rebuilt lol

I was at that point lol but then I was actually thinking gas plus fire = no more 280z

i finally got my 1976 280z to start again so i know it was a dumb choice to start then drain my gas tank i think but anyways i tried to drain my gas tank but the i cant unscrew the plug on the bottom its stuck i tried spraying wd40 rust specialty i think its called but it still wont budge then i tried using a cheater pole but nothing any suggestions? and the gas tanks straps are the same thing

You put where I had the positive to the negative ?

so switch the one that I have the plus on to the negative

And it ran good before I messed up my spark plug port and left it sitting a couple months

It turns over but just doesn't start anymore and it only turns over a couple times then it just clicks like when u have a dead battery. And I leave the battery. To charge but it stays on 12v

I got a new fuel pump and I hooked it up and it doesn't work so I tried to just run a wire from the fuel pump to the battery so I hooked up to the fuel pump and the the positive on the battery and it works but only that way. any suggestions

I've had my 280z for about 7 months now and it was running strong until one day I was changing the spark plugs and I stripped the port so long story short I just brairly fixed the thread on the spark plug port and got the spark plug in and hooked up the battery and the gauge only read 12 volts so I hooked up the jumper cables to see if it will move but nothing and now the car just doesn't want to start any help btw 1976 280z stock l28
