  1. what would a decent LSD come out of? i know a guy here that has several restored 280z and 300z cars, and a crap ton of parts....
  2. by the way id like to keep it a street performance car that is driven on occasion. the engine currently uses premium gas only
  3. so i have a 406, 400 block bored .030 over, kb pistons, aluminum heads, mild cam, holly 750 double pumper. built TH350 transmission. it is now in my chevy 3/4 ton but recently was in a jag, and kept breaking the rear diff. now it needs a new vehicle to go into. would the 280z hold up? im not sure of the hp specs, but it is a torque monster. when i say monster, i mean it. it'll pull you back into the seat all the way to 6000 rpm's and send you flying when the next gear grabs, the front end would lift up. so would i need to add on any mods? swap rear ends? probably upgraded suspension..... the jag was a little different. couldnt do anything to the suspension and no upgradable rear diffs to that specific model (80s sovereign) and if there was, it'd be too expensive. id like to switch to maybe a 5 or 6 speed if it wouldnt be too difficult but the th350 would be ok too. im going to buy the dat200 kit. anyway, need some advice. havent bought the manual or the car yet. opinions opinions please
