  1. HybirdZ family, I'll be plain and blunt. I am not an electrician and the thought of any splicing or the converting of any harnesses just does not float my boat. I have never attempted a swap per se, but I have pulled and rebuilt motors for higher and more reliable power in their original intended applications. I have personally built (had no involvement in the tuning phase) and owned the following; Z31 86 Turbo 356Tq/397hp on a NisTune (Stock internals, refinishing of heads, bearings, port and polishing, Holset hx35, 550cc injectors, gutted plenum, intercooler, 240sx TB, open dump, ect.....) Z32 90TT 401Tq/439Hp tuned by Z1 (Headgaskets, new bearings, t28's, rings, all that good stuff, bigger intercooler, 3 in exhaust DP back, HICAS delete, blah blah) I am no newbie to the Z cars. However, after selling my Z cars due to financial strains, I have been looking at getting back into the Z car life. The dream of having a 240/260/280Z has always entertained me. I have the opportunity of acquiring a 1978 280z that is rust free and is currently running. Of course I will be upgrading the brakes, suspension, and all the other necessities to make it reliable. I am keened in on doing an L28ET swap with the Z31 ECU based off of my experience and likeness of my tuner with NisTune. However, the shop that I deal with has never done an l28et/z31wiring swap and is really not giving me the notion that they are comfortable in the task. They have been trying to persuade me into a JZ swap instead. Ok, cool. But the L28 is also an inline 6 motor and I'd rather keep it Nissan. I'm only looking for 350 to 400 hp which from my searches and observations, is very realistic and attainable goal of an proper built/maintained L28ET. I am looking for someone who would be willing to help and nourish the required work of making this dream a reality. Basically, helping me in preparing an harness for the l28et to z31 harness swap. Plug and go. Compensation will be provided. Thanks (Now let the flaming begin, please use kerosene as it burns longer and hotter   )
