  1. Hi gents. I'm looking to buy some MS Works flares. I really don't feel like waiting 4-5 weeks to get them produced and mailed from Japan, so if anybody has them laying around, let me know -Stan
  2. I have access to a pretty solid CNC machine and thought I'd make me some custom bits. First off is this EGR delete plate. This is a rough prototype. The final product will be a lot more refined and anodized in color. It's made out of billet duralumin. If there's interest, I guess I can have a few more made and I can anodize in pretty much any color. They will come with all hardware necessary (gasket & bolts)
  3. Well I probably miscalculated. It runs for more than 3 or 4 seconds. Say 10 or so and then it starts to die but if I manually open the AFM flap, it keep running. So my guess is that it sucks in so much air from the injectors that it can barely keep the flap of the AFM open so at one point it just dies. I dunno, just guessing
  4. Soooo after a week of trying to figure what the heck is going on, I found out that I have air leaking around the injectors. I blew smoke into my intake to see where I might have vacuum leaks and the smoke started coming out around the injectors mounting... WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!
  5. Hey guys, I am trying to fix the crap the previous owner of my car did. He was in the middle of switching from EFI to carbs when I bought the car and I decided to go with EFI. Anyway, I mounted the EFI back, changed the hoses and all as the old ones were cracked and leaked fuel. Car fires up easily, holds 2k RPM for about 3-4 seconds or so and then just dies. If I give it a little throttle it keeps running but if I let it idle even after that, it still dies. My guess is that for some reason there is a cut in fuel supply in the system but I can't figure it out. Anybody got a clue what could be causing that? Thanks in advance gents.
  6. Hey guys, I recently got my first Z-car (YAY!) and I'm beginning resto project in a few weeks. Right now I'm trying to get all the missing parts one of which the the steering wheel column cover. Does anyone know if there's a difference in covers for cars from different years? Mine is a '77 car and most 280Z covers that I find on eBay say they are for '75-'76 cars. Should I be looking specifically for covers that are for '77 car or any of the other ones will fit? Thanks in advance! -Stan
