  1. Turbo Meister ,  I hope you are doing well. I have a guy on another Datsun forum wanting to talk to about your Z, he told me he owned the Z at one time. He is interested in if you still have it or could you put him in touch with whoever bought it. Thanks

  2. Thanks for the comments. I'm getting a lot of views and watchers, but no buyers yet. If it doesn't sell on E Bay I may have to go to one of the racing sites.
  3. I'm selling my 240 z because I can't race it anymore. It is just too fast for my Senior Citizen body and I don't want to slow the car down. The brutal acceleration down the drag-strip is causing me to be on the verge of passing out. It needs a younger driver to race it. But it has been a fun car for the last 20 years. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Datsun-Z-Series/133133199587?hash=item1eff5b68e3:g:1OEAAOSwdx5dRf7M
  4. I have only been driving it around town and to car shows, lately. My racing days are over. 10 years ago my wife said that I raced too fast in the quarter mile for a man my age. So I kept racing because I would not let her think she could be right. However, my Senior Citizen body can no longer handle the G forces and brutal acceleration on the drag strip. It has been a FUN ride but a man has got to know his limitations (Better late than never ).
  5. Somehow I wore out the Hoosier rear tires ?????.....and replaced them with brand-new Mickey Thompson drag radials.
  6. Here are the new AFR heads.....with 2.10" intake valves. Also installed new Comp Cams Pro-Magnum rocker arms and new thick wall push rods. You can also see the new MSD HVC ll ignition coil.
  7. Never on a dyno before. It is a Motown ll 400 ci racing block. My old set up produced a best mph of 163 in the quarter mile. Standard racing conversion for the weight of the Z and that mph equates to over 1000 flywheel hp.
  8. Had to get new AFR cylinder heads because my Edelbrocks were damaged and had cracks. So, no dyno yet but dyno time will be scheduled in 2018.
  9. Awesome job!!! Can't wait to see those turbos hooked up and screaming.
  10. Custom Strut Bar has been installed. This D.E.I. reflective high heat barrier will protect the hood paint.
  11. The Z has been repaired and is ready for action. Since changes have been made, some tuning will be required. Start-Up https://youtu.be/EoDj0McCyQs
  12. The interior shows stock 240 Z seats and G-Force racing harness. The B&M shifter housing was recessed into the transmission tunnel. The gauges and electrical switches were installed into a custom dash panel.
  13. I designed and Mack fabricated this electric water-pump and 6 gallon ice-water combination tank for the air to water inter-cooler. A kitchen sink stainless steel screen strainer blocks the larger ice particles from entering the 25 gpm Meziere pump. The tank fits securely and snugly between the Z's wheel tubs.
