  1. Mark, One of these 2 guys can help you with your Aero Designs: http://www.hurleyracingproducts.com/index.html or http://www.dauntlessracing.com/
  2. Not sure where you live, but I am selling a VQ35DE from a G35 with a 6 speed. Here is the link: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/93330-vq35de-6-speed-tranny-for-sale/ Just for information, Jeff
  3. You won't loose VVT if you go with Haltech.
  4. Also, Z-Fever has a wiring harness modification and ECU flash which does away with all of the extra NATS, etc... stuff you need, making the swap a lot easier.
  5. Don't forget the drive shaft. You need to yoke. Jeff
  6. It might be the bushing "bearing" the yoke rides on inboard of the seal.
  7. Question about the ECM programming. It sounds like a modified wiring harness is needed (if only to get rid of unnecessary loose ends). Do you supply instructions to modify the harness when the ECM is re-programmed? Will piggy back controllers still work properly with a modified ECM? Thanks,
  8. Mark, What are you using for the front suspension? A-arms and hubs/spindles? Jeff
  9. If you search through the VQ 35 threads you will see that someone has done this with Z-Fever recently and they are very happy. It looks like it works as advertised!
  10. I have a 2003 G35 VQ, and it did not come with a mechanical fan.
  11. Great news, Thanks for the information!!
  12. Here is the link to his build. He is using Autronic, not Hal Tech. Hal is the local tuners first name. http://www.midsouthscca.org/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=112&postdays=0&postorder=asc&sid=e771acfc3d9a55553c3ad689c4e3128e
  13. Yes, I was looking at cams as well, but at $1200 - $1500 for cams and springs, that isn't going to happen very soon. I think I am going to get the engine in the car as get it sorted out before tyring to switch heads/cams. It has been great watching EMWHYR0HEN's build! I hope to have enough money saved up to get my engine in during the 2009 winter season. I didn't get all of the wiring I need to run the stock ECU so I either have to find another donor, or go with an aftermarket ECM.
  14. Looks great! I've always liked the idea of going back into the cowl for the intake. Keep us posted.
