Unlike the fiche website, these are very readable! No S30 , but it has the S130, Z31, Z32, 350Z and even the 1997-2000 R33 and R34 Skylines.

The website which this car came from I believe has long gone, well it was last time I checked, so I thought this could be stored here for history sake, in case anyone is interested in going down this route. Please delete if this is not the right place.

I thought they let go of that funky super-electronica technology hype back in the Mid 80's. And you know what? They did. Then they toyed with the sports car revolution theory of the Z32, and how it was the last letter in sports cars. And that campaign did well, albeit not in sales, but in attraction to the car, it sure as hell did.

One thing the new campaign and redesigned model of the Z didn't do was help them get out of bankruptcy. And it is my belief that the Japanese marketing budget was probably the worst monitarily saturated resource for business. Nissan bit the bullet. Nissan's advertising head and art director in Japan probably spent their last cheque on a commercial director and script writer that actually made a living harvesting wild funghi on the side of togue hills. Probably picked a couple of poisonous mushrooms on the way too. and you'll see why after you watch this:

It's almost as if this guy coaxed the company into taking a page from Tron with which he would perform cold fusion to successfully mold the American salt-flat Nissan commercials with a soundtrack from Stryder from the NES. Advanced life forms which take on the aesthetics of the 8 bit Stryker sword slash turned 3-Dimensional populate the many cracks amongst the dry salty surface. I am confident in saying they're most likely top secret transportation containers disguised as pearl balls which the Deceptacons have programmed in order to deliver energone throughout the salt-flats in various locations for quick-battle consumption.

Now I've seen them all. Nissan has the corniest commercials ever, and I love them for that. And when it really comes down to what I like about nissan it's commercials like the following one that make me remember why I am contemplating to join the road going crowd using one of their products. And it's commercials like the one linked below that really just wanna say...

Enjoy the corniness as much as I did.

Like so many of these shows it started out with very informative segments (1500 WHP from LSXs and a very interesting one on engine balancing, plus some detailed demonstrations of metal forming.) but it is falling into the trap of trying to make personalities of the people involved, but you can skip through those. Anyway it’s worth a look, particularly the presenter who always shows a couple of pointers to the upcoming segment!

I have also found several places that deal in Asian DVD/VCD that carry this and the others (below) Compare the price and shipping between them; yesasia does tend to be a little cheaper on most Chinese DVD of about $3 to $5 it seems (but not on equivalent shipping service), but they only have the Shuto Trail box set in VCD. Yesasia only has 1 and 2 on DVD, and 3 is VCD.

The other place, Five Star Laser, has 1 to 4 on DVD, but they are about 5 more when you count the S&H in (Yesasia on anything above basic "super saver" slow shipping charges $1 per item on top of shipping), so it is really up to what you prefer and such.

As you know, not every DVD player plays VCD, and even when they do, some do not do it well. Also remember that a VCD DOES NOT GIVE DVD QUALITY, and could explain why a VCD is MUCH cheaper than a DVD of the same work.
