Hey everyone! I am sorry I haven't been on HZ in so long! I am still actively selling the gauges, it's been some time since I've been on here, but I am still selling gauges. PLEASE let me know you found me via Hybrid Z, and I will continue to donate. I still work at the same shop, so the information is STILL the same!

Hey guys, I know I'm relatively new to the boards, I am a new Z owner and I see a lot of people looking to purchase the Speedhut gauges. At my company we are becoming a Speedhut gauge dealer, and right now we're offering a discount on their gauges!

For instance, what seems to be the most popular is the Revolution 4" with turns and high beam indicator:

I can also sell the gauge kits they offer on their website for a bit cheaper also.

PM me what you're looking for, payment can be taken via Paypal (though if you paypal, it will have to go through my personal) or you can call me and I can do card over the phone.

If you're interested, either email, call, or post on the thread, and I can definitely see what I can do on pricing. The first initial batch of gauges will go out at the beginning of next month, and if popular enough, I would like to run this group buy for a month. The more gauges you order, the deeper the discount!

The shop I work for

I've been working on having a fully adjustable rear camber and caster kit for the 280ZX with a friend of mine who does an amazing kit for the Datsun 510. The 510 shares a very similar trailing a-arm suspension with the S130 280ZX. I just sent over a rear cross member and a-arms to Byron and in comparison the 510 is MUCH larger than the 280ZX (about 4 inches to play with as opposed to the 1 1/2 inches on the 280ZX). That means the 280ZX rear cross member adjustable bracket needs to be completely redesigned from the original 510 kit Byron makes. Byron is willing to redesign the bracket to work with the geometry of the 280ZX but he needs 15 buyers just to break even. He's willing to do the project if I can get 10 guys to commit to buying a setup in the hopes that he'll sell at least another five just to get his money back out (that's not including all the time in his design, etc). Each kit will be $300 each and will allow you to adjust both the camber and caster of the rear end. This is a MUST if you are lowering your 280ZX and/or if you are racing or auto xing your car and want to be able to tune the suspension. There is currently NO other adjustable systems on the market for the 280ZX and the only option is to use toe bolts and/or slot the rear cross member but there isn't a lot of material to do any slotting as it is and the adjustment range is minimal. For Byron's kit you would have to cut off the stock mounts and weld on the new ones which is fairly straight forward but does require welding - this is not a bolt on kit - that would require a complete cross member replacement and would be very expensive. The kit would be complete with everything you need other than removing the bracket and welding the new kit on.

There's a bit of a thread on it and the installation is over here

Hey Jeff,

Yeah , we can do one, but we need a STOCK cast manifold or a sample

of a broken , or cracked manifold to make a jig out of.

We would also want someone to help make it so it would have

What we do in cases like this - if you want to do something like this

is (2) fold.

A) We get the part made, and you test fit it, make sure it is correct

> In the old Datsun 2X0z (Nissan) world we are using the 2.8L

>

> Is there any plans to make a turbo header for this older

> motor? Can there be?

>

I have been in contact with the Rota representative who is located about 30 minutes from my home. I inquired about having the Rota RB (it looks like a rewind/watanabe) made in a 17" by around 9-10 specification to our desired offset. A total of 25 people (100 wheels) would be required to run this deal. I think this one might be a long shot, but they are very attractive wheels and a 17X9.5 or so in a low negative offset might be just the ticket for our Z cars.

EDIT: Update - Pricing is $750 for a set of four shipped any where in the continental US. If you pickup in Hayward, it is only $700. These wheels will be setup to clear a stock suspension, but will most likely (almost 100%) require flares or fender rolling. I am working on determining the size that fits at the moment and will be making cardboard wheels in a 245/40, 255/40, and 275/40 size. The rears should fit 275/40 no problem. The fronts may need to step down to 255. We shall see. This will help me to determine an offset that works.

If you are interested and willing to jump on this, please express it. Suggestions on sizing are welcome as well. Images are in the link above.

Anyone interested in a group buy for the Rota RKR 17x8.5 +4 offset? They look like the old school Watanabe rims. I wanted to get the RB's, but too many people have them now. Also, the 17" rim gives me much more options for tire sizes from serveral companies (8 pages worth on tirerack site).

The largest tire you can fit on a 240Z is a 245/40/17 with rolled fenders with a 17x8.5 +4 rim. I've seen it and it looks great. I reached out to racing18 and they don't not carry this option right now, but they can put in an order if there are 5 or more parties.

Ever wanted to run Mega Squirt or some other stand alone engine managament system but there was no way you wanted to mess with the wiring or figuring out what you needed to run for hardware? Mega Squirt is a powerful system and extremely flexible but that can be a problem for a lot of people - where do I start! In practice it's usually pretty simple but the learning curve is a little daunting. We can build, test, reconfigure, upgrade and/or load a base tune into your Mega Squirt ECU. With most builds we can test the entire system or the major portions in our test bed vehicles. That helps to eliminate as many of the common road blocks as possible to making our product turn key for your application.

We've had an initial run of custom harnesses for Mega Squirt, SDS and Electromotive systems and the response has been very positive. We're offering this now as a group buy for HybridZ members at a reduced rate from our regular price. A typical basic custom harness would be priced at $700 but our HybridZ Group Buy is priced at $600.

I've designed and built several Mega Squirt harnesses for various Datsun projects. I'm an Electronics Engineering Technologist so I've designed these harnesses for optimal noise immunity with high grade wiring to provide you with a highly reliable backbone for your Mega Squirt EFI system. Electronic noise can cause all sorts of gremlins in your system. To eliminate these issues all harnesses are configured with a robust grounding system as well as shielded cabling for all sensors. The wiring is heat and chemical resistant to provide you with years of trouble free use. EV1 connectors for the injectors use the quick disconnect plugs for ease of installation and removal – no more fighting with wire clips.

The basic harness is designed to plug into the stock sensors and injectors found on a stock L28ET engine. This includes the injectors, 82-83 dizzy with optical encoder wheel (allows the use of stock or custom encoder wheels), TPS (after market – stock is a throttle position switch – MS requires a throttle position sensor which is a potentiometer rather than a switch), CHTS, Knock sensor (wired to main connector but not hooked up – MS requires extra hardware for the knock sensor), ignition coil, IAT (after market – stock IAT is built into the AFM but should be removed due to air restriction – MS uses a MAP sensor so the AFM is not required) and WBO2 sensor and power. Connectors for the IAT, TPS and WBO2 will vary from installation to installation so the buyer can provide their own connectors for installation during the build of the harness or install them on the prepped associated cabling. Spares can be run for extra power, etc as requested.

You can add a relay/fuse block assembly to the basic harness. One will provide power for an ignition enabled fuse panel which will provide fused power for the MS ECU, injectors, ignition coil, WBO2 and fuel pump as well as spares for additional power nearby the ECU. The second relay provides ECU control and powers the fuel pump. This can be configured to plug directly into the stock body wiring harness on the 280ZX and control the stock fuel pump using the stock fuel pump wiring if requested. This eliminates the optional diyautotune relay and relay harness and gives you addtional fuses for your WBO2 and igntion coil as well as a spare. The diyautotune assembled relay board and relay board harness is $179. Custom assembly is $150.

Optional custom cabling such as COP/CNP distributorless wiring is also available. Typically the connectors will be installed with filter caps in close proximity to the COP/CNP connector to eliminate back EMF from the coil discharge and integrated into the harness. Custom lengths and spacing for connectors can be built to the buyer’s specification.

Basic harness is $550. Basic customization is also included in this price. Additional cost for extra sub harnesses such as the COP/CNP is typically about $300. I can also build and test your MS 2/3/3x ECU and load a base tune. This will allow the buyer to plug in the harness and ECU and get the car up and running (provided the car is mechanically functioning correctly) with minimal fuss. A proper dyno tune is highly recommended for optimal performance.

Ok third try on this post.

But I had this cap made for my trigger wheel and CNP/COP setup. So I wanted to test the waters to see is anyone else would like to have these made. Seen them in the past for over 200 each I would have these made for around 150, would take a week or two to be made. Also would need the washer in the dizzy that the rotor attached to be machined down (shown in photo) I had this done for a lower profile.

As I said this is a test to see what kind of interest this would gather among the z guys. Thanks for looking.

I am working on a 240z swap using the R200. It is very hard finding a R200 with the LSD. Pursuing other products on the market to achieve the open diff. to an LSD is not only expensive, purchasing a Quaife but is not practical installing a Phantom Grip or the conversion from Traction Concepts. The later products in my opinion will never handle the stress needed to achieve the horse power most of us want. I personally would like to have a great LSD installed one time and forget it. So I will get to the point. I have contacted MFactory. At this time they do not carry an LSD for the R200. But, if there is enough interest and I want to stress serious interest. They will begin the process of development and manufacturing the helical LSD. With initial talks the unit will be at least on the average of $300.00-400.00 less than the Quaife and still have a lifetime warranty. For those of you not familiar with MFactory, here is a link for you to read about their products and how they are made.
http://www.teammfactory.com/helical-lsd for information on their helical LSD’s

Serious interest post below so we can start a list.

1.exlifesaver*PAID*
2.LLave*PAID*
3.hcarrickz3 *PAID*
4. yahz *PAID*
5.konradlip *PAID*
6.Chris Duncan *PAID*
7.hcarrickz3 (2nd LSD) *PAID*
8.MidnightCafe *PAID*
9.Medic8 *PAID*
10.makaofox *PAID*

As of now, I am NO LONGER offering group buy with Rota. Their sheer lack of customer support has hindered us from getting wheels because I am a smaller dealer. I have a few orders in now, and cannot get a hold of anyone over there! As those who have already placed orders with me, know that I have been trying to get in touch with them to either place orders (meaning I haven't even paid them), or get updates on orders (that have already been paid). I don't know what kind of company that doesn't even want to take orders! This is seriously making me very angry, and in the many years of being in business, I don't see how these guys even survive.

For future buyers, unfortunately if they don't shape up very quick, then I will no longer offer these wheels.

	Hey guys,

I just became a dealer for Rota, and MST Wheels.

Is there any interest in wheels? Unlike my other group buys, I must have a few sets ordered before I can complete.

So I'm just gauging interest on (if anyone) wheels?

The MST and Rotas are SEPARATE. So In order for it to work, I would have to have enough orders on one or the other. Let me know!

Ok so I have been in contact with Bride recently and have been pushing for some of the Histrix seats that they used to make.
They are not for everyone since I know these seats are more $$ than most want to spend BUT I also know there are some who have sought these seats for some time now.

So just this week they have given me good news and are willing to make me a set.

Now this is something that will be done for a short while so I am trying to see if there is any more interest to help bring down the price.
They are supposed to get back to me tomorrow with a Retail price they will create and a discount level. They estimate it to be around $2000-$2200 retail for seat and I am shooting for $1800 for the group buy.

Hope I am not violating any rules by gauging interest. Either way I will be ordering my seats soon.

Feedback will be appreciated.

Hey guys,

A friend of mine has been building these knock lights that work really, really well. They are programmable, to use ANY knock sensor. The only down side of this unit is that you have to wire in your own knock sensor, and you have to do some testing on it. Not a big deal. It comes with everything you need including the the USB cable for programming.

It comes with 5-6 ft of shielded wire ready to go as well too.

Features:

LEDs to show intensity of the knock

It has a HEADPHONE jack (my favorite feature. One wire to the knock gauge, and the other in to the Aux in of a radio).

It supports both digital and analog out.

He sales these units at 109 a pop, but obviously there is a discount as units sell.

But I just wanted to gauge interest to see if anyone else would be interested.

01/14/16 Ladies and gents, we have reached the minimum required number of participants to go through with the printing process. Those who have reached out to me showing interest, please check your inbox for payment instructions so I can go ahead and place the orders with the printer. Thank you guys!

Hi guys,

I'd like to extend the opportunity to purchase some of my automotive artwork via a group buy, at a discounted rate. My latest illustration is a Datsun 240ZG that is printed on a sheet of brushed aluminum. The beauty of this process allows you to actually see the texture of the brushed aluminum, where typically you would see any white color on a paper on canvas print. The piece measures 2 feet by 8 inches tall, and comes with a wooden mount that allows you to mount it directly to any wall. You also have the option of selecting either a matte or glossy finish to the whole print.

I have worked out a deal with my printer that allows me to offer a discounted rate on an order of 5 pieces or more.

Price
My regular price for this piece is $120 shipped within the Continental US. The Group Buy price is $84.99 shipped to your door. I can only offer this deal until January 31st of this year and a minimum of 5 orders is required by my printer. The print is limited to 30 pieces.

Payment
Once the required number of interested parties is reached, I will be reaching out to you with my paypal information.

Production time and shipping
Once payment has been received, the printing and shipping process takes roughly 6-10 combined. Tracking information will be provided.

if you have any questions please feel free to post them here or pm me.

I hope you like my work and thanks for your time!

-dennis

you can really see the aluminum texture shine here:

sign up list:

1.
