I am trying to get some low sitting seats. I was going to go with Bride seats, but with the new caution for drivers over 175 lbs, there is no way that they could work for me. Attached are the width for the seats and a picture. I have searched and with the Corbeau Forza, there was some issues with interior width and these are .5 inches wider.
Can someone with a 280Z see if they might be able to fit. I am trying to find a low sitting, recliner, and the possibility of using a 4 point harness.
I have spent hours of research, but I don't have access to my car at this point. Could someone do some math looking at the width of their existing seats in a 280Z.
Thanks
Jeff
Size issues:
23 inches at the upper wings
20.5 inches at the base
What year 280z? It matters due to the catalytic converter hump on the tranny tunnel in some models.

You should PM member Curt76280
He has a set of doors and might be willing to ship them internationally for you.

Pretty sure you can go to the police now with what you have here.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
This is freakin hilarious!

I ran an intercooler with mine, no issues.

Get a 280z grill and turn signals, problem solved.

Yes, I am an addict. There, I've said it. Let the healing begin
Seriously, I can usually be found out in the garage if I'm not dealing with my son's hockey. Just ask Clive!

You must work there.

No aero, just a nice front air dam that is NOT the type 2 or 3 from MSA.

Looking good.
Oh, and nice Kubota you have there.

Yea, I've got to find a good performance tuner for this car and see what is going on in the fuel system. I am still dialing in the speedo. I have the Cable-X box converter. Until I get the speedo right, I don't know what actual mileage I am getting.
Irt's good to hear that the diff ratio shouldn't make a big problem for me.
Now if I can solve the CV bottoming out problem. I might be ready to put the lsd in.
You can use a GPS to accurate calculate fuel mileage and speed.

Where in SC are you located?
There is a guy in Rutherfordton, NC who does pretty well working on stock Z's. I have used him several times and he knows the stock fuel injection pretty well, oh, and he is very cheap.

Maybe you can do like 240hoke did and find a substitute from McMaster Carr or Steele Rubber Products.
His was on a 240z but both companies have one metric crap ton of rubber products.
-
I don't think your rear end ration is the reason for your poor fuel mileage.

Make sure to do the timing belt!

You can usually find local shops to make your hard lines with whatever fittings you want. I used to use a local one all the time to make hard lines for big truck AC systems, was cheap and faster than ordering from the dealer.

Yea this thread is almost 4 years old, don't know what I was thinking back then. I think on3go put the idea in my head.

Thank you, picture quoting is VERY annoying.

Yea I was marking up for bloated shipping expenses.

Thanks.
So I think you could get one shipped here for $10k, not bad.
