  1. Voltron. What ate the new wheels and specs. Would like to see what you do.
  2. Thanks Tony. Will head out to the Anaheim store. Also close to my future school CSUF.
  3. Thanks Tony. Yah I had a hard time removing the nuts. I'm assuming your suggestion helps for a easy install/removal too. I appreciate it. I will see if I can head down to one of the stores. Funny thing is I went to mcmastercarr a couple of weeks back to pickup some weatherstrip thanks to your suggestion in another post.
  4. Hi, I am doing a rebuild/upgrade on my L6 engine and I lost all 4 water pump pulley nuts. The ones that hold down pulley via the studs from water pump. If any one can please tell me what size are the nuts so I can purchase them ASAP at a hardware store. If I had atleast one I could take it to a machinist who gives me info on threads and size, etc... I dont have one single one. Thanks Brian O.
  5. If you are going to swap 260/280 tailights onto a 240z, use my writeup on this forum. Been holding up for 3 years +. Brian.
  6. Great Vid, I just love old school porsche, especailly the big tire flared ones. This vid makes me want to travel to japan. Also its frustrating to see guys junk their z because of a little rust spots and see a man who has little to work with bring the car back to life.
  7. DevilZX, looks good I'm glad you used Cummings engine as inspiration. I have been around those 16 litre inline 6 big rig engines since I was a kid. Im glad to see the manifold put to good work. Keep it up and hope you can update us with progress and results. Also, should have cleaned the manifold from the surface rust before shipped it out. Sorry.
  8. Check out Los angeles Craigslist, there is an LSD z31 for $700
  9. Ive heard of guys plugging and the downside is that gas will spew when it gets too hot or when you try to get close to filling the tank. If your big vent hose is not in operable condition, I suggest getting the vent line from NAPA auto, make sure you get sufficient length so you can route a long way without kinking.
  10. Hey Rich, If you use an SDS for your rb25det cann you let me know and see If you can fab a bracket for me.
  11. check out "zn42p90" on youtube, he runs the n42 block and p90 head combo in Japan. I forgot his compression numbers, but its high and he has a really fast car.
  12. How big are your sleeves? I have ground control coilovers with 6" sleeves and strut tube sits flush with coilovers sleeve, but if you do that make sure you have room to remove/work on gland nut.
  13. Im looking to upgrade LCA. I really like the modern motorsports piece and it is the only one I'm looking at right now. Ross is hard to come by and want to give it a try here. Used or new. Thanks
  14. It's the owner of Z race products his name is jerry or Gerry. He is in San Diego and has a website. Just fill out inquire form and he will respond with a ring or a message.
  15. Thanks for the input z240. I will contact you soon about the harness. I also need to invest time this year to learn automotive wiring.
  16. Hey peeps, I have an early 260z and wiring for a 1 year car has little support compared to 240z and 280z. I know how to upgrade alternators, thank you hybridz, but there is a lot of wiring for the car. I want something simple. What do you guys think I should do? I was looking at painless or ez wiring or If possible use a 240z harness for simplicity and support. Is it possible to use 240z wiring in an early 260z and remove shunt and all the add on relays for the car? Any input would be great. In the upcoming future I will upgrade to a turbo engine possibly RB if time and money permits, will stock 260z harness give me a headache when swapping the engine? Thanks Brian
  17. Hey Ray, is the stock early 260z wiring difficult to mate with rb25? Was there any additions or deletes to wiring harness? I ask beecause Im not sure if I should stick with 260z wiring. I want to go to a painless kit or maybe to a 240z wiring since it has a lot of support.
