  1. Welcome, 200HP is easily obtainable on a stock setup, intake, exhaust and turn the boost up to 12psi. However, you will want to replace the stock ecu and wiring harness. These old cars are prone to poor electrical connections and the engine management is not great at all.
  2. Just remember, you can't really sand epoxy "primer" sealer.
  3. If you keep it stock, the N/A trans is fine, as soon as you turn up the boost and drive it hard, they won't last. I am on #3, but I don't drive it nice either.
  4. - oil cooler and lines, valance for oil cooler ( it has cut-outs in it), ignition coil mount (it's turned 90 degrees from non-turbo), boost sensor is mounted on the shock tower, boost gauge, oil-temp gauge, I think the 82 also has better rear calipers and master cylinder. Don't forget to get the exhaust elbow that bolts on to the down-pipe. If it's a manual trans, the turbo trans is slightly stronger than the N/A.
  5. Stock camshaft info here: https://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/cam/index.htm
  6. Muriatic acid will eat the rust and leave you with bare metal, the full strength stuff works better but hard to come by. Be careful, if you leave it on too long, it will eat the metal. Here is an example of what the acid can do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tfk2J0fXZzM full strength version of the acid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2Q7I26cwkU Skyco ospho rust converter will "convert" the rust into something paintable. You apply it, let it sit 24 hrs then wash it off, then paint it. I just started doing this method this last year, so I can't offer you any lasting results, but I think it will work better than other methods I have used. Remember, you need to wash it off after you let it sit or the paint won't stick. I recommend using POR-15 to repaint it, they have an aerosol can that can be painted directly to the bare metal.
  7. Not final, but here is my progress installing the intercooler piping.

  9. Z32 or Q45 diff swap is what I recommend
  10. You might look into the Mercedes straight 5 cylinder engine. A lot of people are doing them in jeep swaps. I personally know of a guy that did the swap in his 94 Jeep Wrangler and is getting 30 mpg.
