  1. This is awesome!!!! I havent taken my SE-R quite as extreme as this, but it is still such a blast to drive and play with. I would like to know where you got the Sunroof filler panel. I am not a sunroof fan and would love to perform this mod on my car.
  2. believes that one day that big pile of parts will be a car again.

  3. Found this place a while back. they sell replacement brake lines for our cars. http://classictube.com/products.asp
  4. I am just hoping if my car puts out an oil slick it is on demand with a switch.
  5. If you have trouble pm me a phone # and I will talk you through it.
  6. Ok this is very Easy to do. I will give you the steps to follow. This will also work for the 2005 and up Pathfinders, Xterra's and Frontier Pickups. 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal 2. Turn the steering wheel where the bottom of the wheel is facing out towards the drivers door. 3. Take a thin long screwdriver and slip in into the hole in the bottom backside of the steering wheel and press up on the rod that runs across inside the hole. It may help to press in on the horn button/ airbag at the same time. 4. It should pop off very easily at that point. 5. Be careful when you do this as the airbag is part of the horn pad. There will be a yellow and a orange connector on the backside. You have to pop up the black clip in the center then make sure to pull the connector out straight. The other wire that is on the back of the horn pad/airbag is the horn wire. It is a single wire and the clip is pretty easy to remove with just your fingers. I have found that it makes it easier if you cut a V shape into the end of the screwdriver (.99 cent screwdriver from Walmart or Home Depot/Lowes work well). If you have any more problems, let me know and I will do what I can to help. Bill
  7. This guy just sold a manifold like you are describing. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=136650&highlight=350z+intake I directed a good friend of mine from another Z website over and he bought it. I have yet to hear what he thinks, but I will try to get ahold of him and let you know.
  8. You can definitely make more off of the car if you part it out. But it can be a long drawn out process selling part by part, whereas if you sell it as a whole car you can just be done with it and have your money to go towards your next project. If you are emotionally attached to the car (arent we all) then it will also be harder to dismantle it and sell it off. Hope this helps some.
  9. I have used the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 and gotten about 30,000 miles out of them. Bear in mind that there were some autocrosses, a drag run or two, some extended high speed runs and then about 4 days at the "Tail of the Dragon". So its pretty safe to say they havent been babied. I love the Falken RT, have them on my Sentra SE-R and they are great. But if you are looking for good mileage life out of them, look elsewhere. My 350Z is currently running BFG G-Force KDW-2. Very agressive tread and so far have done well for me. Only time will tell how long they last.
  10. My company is down 38% from last year. It is a little scary to say the least. At one point we had over a years worth of inventory sitting on the grounds at the plant. IT will all pass, it always does but until then we will just have to keep on keeping on.
  11. My personal economy is good, but I work in the automotive industry in a truck plant so times are a little uncertain right now. I have cutback buying parts and modding for a time just to be cautious. If/when things get better then I will have the funds put back into my project cars. Till then I just do a lot of stuff myself and am learning how to do a lot more things cheaply than before.
  12. I am a Parts Quality Engineer for Nissan. I love my job cause I get to play with Cars and Trucks all day everyday.
  13. Awesome....hahahahahaha!!!! Oh well at least it looks like it will go cheap.
  14. Not sure about that, but there are plenty of people on here with a ton of knowledge that can help you out with that. Congrats on the car, you are going to love it.
  15. thanks, those are a few of my babies. I would think Schucks or any autoparts store would be able to get you what you need without too much trouble.
