Thanks for the answers, im a machinist by trade, so I will be able to figure something out. I just really like the way they look, I dont have a GTO replica but im thinking of using them anyways.

Chelle, is there a writeup somewhere on the door button install. I just saw the pics in another thread of your car and I like the look of the latches. Thanks!

I just got back from pacific raceways outside of seattle, they shot two episodes there tonite. It was great. No race was more than 3 car lengths diff on the start. Then the winner of the first episode raced the winner from the second episode heads up for $500 bucks. It was pretty good.

N42 is a square port just like a P90. Your compression will be bumped up to 8.5:1 or so. If youve got some extra cash, while swapping the head, get the 2mm metal headgasket and ARP studs. The 2mm gasket will drop the compression back down a bit. HTH

I think you nailed most of them...
Non cracked dashes and center consols would be on there too
Maybe black interior parts (Maybe, I know 240sx guys all want black interior)
Oddly enough stock hubcaps ive seen get good money
Uncracked 240 turn signals
Turbo ECU and wiring harness might be good too (280zxt or Z31)

the rear, in a 9" wide wheel needs to be -12 if I remember those watanabe & ZG threads correctly. so you would need the et17 with a 29mm spacer.... I know all this info has been discussed before

182.55 for polished outter shells.... im glad I only need to buy two outter shells for my wheels

9-11 for me
Ditto, with unknown cam.

There isnt much there. I think there are one or maybe two members from there, but I havent seen any posts from them in a year at least. Its pretty much a farm city, I think there might be a casio or two. I know thats not much help but its all I got.
The Seattle area is a 2-3 hr drive depending on traffic.

The only time mine saw above 200* was while hot lapping at the drag races. No A/C or IC though. I also had my radiator cleaned and tested. Oh and that was on a 160* Tstat.

Ill be interested to see how long it holds up. Your still on a stock Rb25det bottom end correct?

Cool, another guy from WA. Your best bet for the bumper is to watch the classifieds, or junkyards for a 240z bumper (70-73) which is what that front bumper is. If you dont need to have a chrome one, MSA sells fibre glass and carbon fibre versions. They need special brackets to be attached. To pull the rear bumper, you need to drop the gas tank out. Welcome to hybridZ, and please check out the search function and browse the FAQ section. Everyone will like you more for that.

No flares? how wide of tires are you planning on running?

Looks like there was a half way repair done there before. Pull it and see how it comes out. If its ok, great, if not youve still got to cut the panel up anyways.

We are talking the 84-87 300zx hubs. The wheel bearings are the same and it does just bolt on. Im still doing some research as to what to do with the dust seal, but other than that, its easy. Just do a search for 5 lug or 300zx hubs and you will learn more than you need to know!

The plates are the same

Pulling the pan in-car sucks, but I think its the way to go.

Another thing that you may want to check is see whether your crankshaft pulley bolt has backed out.
I'm with Tim' date=' verify timing. It is also possible that the outer ring where the magnets are attached has spun (It only takes a few degrees to throw the timing off). I have had both of these instances happen when I was running SDS.
Regards, Mike[/quote']
I was going to say the same thing, I had a very similar problem with mine. As for the SDS timing, if it was setup correctly you should just be able to put a light on the #1 cyl like normal, and check it with the timing marks. I dont remember, but there should be a window in one of the gauge modes that will let you see what timing number you should be seeing at idle. Ah here it is, if you check out http://www.sdsefi.com you can look at the manual. Also they are very helpful over the phone for tech calls.
Also check to make sure your mixture knob didnt get knocked around at all. I had that 'issue' once too.
Its been a while since ive fooled with SDS, so this is all ive got as far as advise. Hope it helps

There is also the pacific science center. Early Nov kinda sucks, its between ski season and boating/racing/anything outdoor season.
There is a pretty active club scene in pioneer square (down town)
We also have two WHL (western hockey league) hockey teams, one or the other should be in town. One is in seattle, and the other about 45 min north in Everett.
If I think of anything else ill post it up. I havent really done the touristy things here before.
