  1. www.zilvia.net one of, if not, the best sr/ka sites on this side of either pond. sit there for a long time and take it all in.
  2. I remember about a year ago, there was a guy on ebay who would sell complete hardware kits. went to find them today, and couldnt find much. the kits had exactly what was required, for the front half, or back half, or suspension, all the way up to the entire car. any ideas where to get a kit like this now?
  3. ive done the swap. it is possible, but more cost efficiently done by just using the sr tranny if you do an sr swap. the money you save by using the tranny you have and drive shaft will more than likely be eaten up by machine shop costs. when i was weighing out the costs of using the stock components it was cheaper by a couple hundred dollars to use the sr stuff. same would with the ka setup if you went that route.
  4. why not use the sr20 tranny? generally they come together, if not, they cant be had for about 200 or less. my drive shaft cost me 90 bucks (would have been about 220 if i wanted a new one fabbed out of aluminum.
  5. okay, i read through the thread and couldnt find what i was looking for. I email Kim about order wheels (though im #5 on the original list, ive been deployed so im just not getting to order). Anyway, when i emailed him, i got a response saying i could send paypal to cherry@curesure.com now, this seems weird since when you go to curesure its some weirdass home remedy site. whats the deal?
  6. haha, they are made 15 minutes from my house. i love them. they are cheap basic wheels for when you tear stuff up a lot.
  7. i have a 2004 5.9 cummins and i love it. i tow my enclosed 28' haulmark and it doesnt even flinch.
  8. definitely will do, if i ever get there. uncle sam has been keeping me busy.
  9. Alright, i searched, looks like some people have made their own, but thats not 100% legal for lapping days up here. so my question is, where can i get new gas tank straps? i searched nissan's catalog but that thing is too vague/complicated, and im too computer illiterate to figure it out. thanks guys.
  10. you're amazing man, i wish i lived out there, i would definitely be at your shop letting you guys handle this, since this project has taken me more than 8 months. thanks for the help.
  11. http://www.msdignition.com/sci_11.htm <<<< that? then i can use my autometer tach? awesome, thanks.
  12. alright, now im confused again, i have an auto meter tach hooked up the cas but it doesnt read, i noticed that vildini is running this same tach on at least one of their sr cars, what do you have them hooked up to and did you need any signal modifiers? im truly confused now. thanks
  13. the 240 was an open shortnose r200, the 280 was the stock open. i put a kaaz in the 240 a while ago and am wanting to put it back to stock for club racing.
