  2. Running out of room, so thinning down my model collection.

Many of these are no longer in production so are quite collectible,

Many of the plastic builder kits (Fujimi, Tamiya etc) I bought when I visited Singapore over 20 years ago, and were never offered for sale Stateside.  All these models are new and have never been built and 100% intact including all the assembly instructions, many still have the original plastic wrap on them.  No damage whatsoever.

The Porsche models are all diecast metal (1:24 scale).

Each model is $15 each, buy two or more and I'll throw in some additional car swag (hot wheels, brochures, literature etc - what ever I can fit in the box and find).  Shipping is based on your zip and will be FedEx ground.

  3. Hi Ross - Nice to hear from you and hope all is well. Thanks for the compliments on my old roadie.  I will definitely look seriously into a Carbon framed bike this year, the weight of yours is remarkable as I am sure I have about 5 or so more pounds on my bike.  If I am down in your neck of the woods I will certainly like to tag along on a group ride (probably towards the rear of the group..laughing!).

    Cheers.

    Yasin

  4. Rossman - That Propel road bike is way cool...how much does it weigh?  I am also in Houston.

I ride an older Cannondale R700, but looking for a replacement this year with the hopes of landing on a Carbon frame bike.

  5. Guys - On my daily driven 1988 Mazda 323 GT (245,000 miles), I recently replaced the rear wheel bearings - both sides.  It went smoothly and one side is perfect while the right is certainly more audible at low speeds and when loaded like taking a corner quickly.

I decided to dismantle everything tonight and I discovered that the spindle had "burn" marks on the surface and also on the bearing as well.  The spindle is fortunately not damaged and I am positive I can take some sand paper to remove the burn / friction marks. I would appreciate any thoughts and advice as to why this happened and hoping its a bearing tolerance issue?  I ordered a new set of bearings tonight.

    Thanks!!
