  1. I demand pictures of this v-12 beast if one really is alive .... I Supose its possable thou. i was thinking about buying a wrecked dodge viper and using it to put a v-10 in one of my 280zx's lol
  2. Your FPR have u tried to use your stock 280zx FPR ? mine reads fine all the way up to 40 plus. i think the highest ive seen it was 42 psi
  3. Couldnt u still be able to take the P-90 or p-90 Head and polish the intake and exhaust ports ? using a fine dremle polishing tool ? just an thought or ideal what do yall think ? Im in the process of Rebuilding a 1983 280zxt 2+2 digital dash with a P90A head but it has Soild lifter no joke ! im dumbfounded i have pictures.!
  4. LoL you make me feelbad after 10 plus hoursi n the sun 2.5 hours per wheel starting at 800 wet grit sant paper and working my way up from 800- 1000-1200-1500-2000 washing them off every time. Giving them a final wash off drying them off then hiting them with mothers alumanum mag polish i think my 280zx turbo wheels came out awsome ! But the down side is every 2 months takes a little 2000 wet grit to bring them to polish again. I tried high temp clear coat on one rim i had siting around and it still looks great ! down side is if i saw any inperfections i was doomed ! lol
  5. Im finding out on my 1983 280zxt thats timing on the harmonic balancer isnt really that hard. set timimg to 0 deg. thats TDC now hears the trickey part i found out seting the top of the timing chain to number 1 timing sprocket while the top cam is dead on with the right valves opening and closeing. lets not to metion the way the oil pumps need to go on . Hears what ive learned " zero Degrees on the harmonic balancer pull number one mark on the top chain sproket and number 1 spark plug timing ton your distributor " baicly making sure your rotor is hiting number one sparl plug wire. If im wrong some one correct me ... as im doing my first 280zx turbo rebuild on a 1983 280zxt 2+2 digital dash " tuxedo " paint
  6. Good news and bad news up date i did find a used 280zx tps sensor from the junk yard it came off a 82 n/a so what the hell i hooked it up and it made a minor differance the " air to fuel " gauge read LEAN red when start up and after warmed up would read :" I DEAL " this is when i have the car in my at my house since then i have had my car inpounded. Anyways Life isnt going to good for me yall. Wish me luck tomorow at court . All i wanted was to be apart of a Z car club.
  7. 240 sx throttle body TPS sensor i conected it and the car runs just fine with it on or off. Question about MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR. Can i ADJust it to make the run richer ? or leaner ? if so HOW ? Nismo619 p.s. to put the 280zx TPS sensor back on the stock 240sx throttle body is there an adapter needed ? if so i will make it an post pictures
  8. Try cutting one in quarters straight down the middle then right in half. i used a corbid steel rec. saw bit it took me a little while to do it its the only way the junk yard would tkae it since it didint have any wheels..
  9. TPS throttle postion sensor is located on the side of the throttle body thats not a problem if its disconneted. I think the problem lies inside the " mass air flow sensor located on the front left side of the raditor and between the left head light. "
  10. when the car is running on the road max boost hits 12psi at only 3,000 rpm tires barley stick to the ground in 1st 2nd 3 chrips the tires i havent been able to get the car out onto the freeway. Question is that was for the first 5 miles. Now the car barley starts and jumps up and down in rpms. ive checked everything all hoses are tight and nice fit . Maybe its just a horrable hybrid turbo mis-hap ? any body please read this and help me out... I have looked all through the t3 hybrid forums..... help is needed.
  11. i have a hybrid t4 houseing and a v trim on my stock exhaust side too. i just installed it the other day .. main question is since u are running a new turbo set up do u or dont u have to re adjust your mass air flow meter ?
  12. mobythevan after u installed your hybrid turbo charger did u have to re adjust your air flow meter ? i need to know becuase i installed a to4e hybrid turbo charger and my car starts but revs normaly at 900 rpm then drops to 200 then back up to 500 rpm then dies the only way to keep it alive is to keep my foot on the petal.
  13. so the biggest question is ! u do a hybrid turbo set up like me. Then u find out your 280zxt doesnt run right with the new turbo charger. 1 do u change the air flow sensor to run richer ? 2 if so how do u do it ? pictures please ? 3 i took off a t4 compressor wheel and cover and transplated it to my stock exhasut side turbo holy ♥♥♥♥ it worked ! problem is my oxygen temp sensder uint to my FAZE gauge reads LEAN now in stead of Stock . ?
  14. After Putting On A Hybrid Turbo Charger Your Car May Or May Not Act Right , Meening This I Think U Might Have To Adjust Your Air Flow Meter " Mass Air Flow Sensor " To Correct The Air Flow Problem Am I Right Or Am I Wrong ? If Im Right How Do U Do It ? My 1982 280zxt Seemed To Run Right At First But Now Wont Run Worth A Sh&t Seems To Start But Jumps From 200 Rpm To 1200 Rpm Then Dies Unless I Stomp On The Gas To Keep It Going.
  15. Hello everybody i just now got around to installing my hybrid turbocharger hears what i did to get the job done. 1 took off intake manafold bored out intake to 240sx throttle body 60mm ? 2 took off exhaust manafold and cleaned it out with throttle body stray 3 high temp coated exhaust manafold with 1500* spray paint. 4 New intake exhaust gasket. 5 i renstalled everything corretly. 6 car ran ok for the first 5 miles. 7 big problem car starts up but doesnt idel right car idels at 900 rpm just down to 150 rpm and barley stayes alive.. BIG QUESTION IS DO I HAVE TO " ADJUST " THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR ? MEENING TAKING OFF THE LITTLE BLACK BOX ON THE SIDE .. THEN ADJUSTING THE LITTLE BOLTS INSIDE ? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY HELP !
