oh and were the custom ball joints a very expensive job? Also curious what your reasons were to not use S13 or S14 control arms. Seen someone say that they work, but they did not discuss the issue of the ball joint being at an extreme angle.

Awesome set up djz! You have put a lot of thought and effort into your car and it looks mean! I am going to try out the S13/14 bits sometime. Do you think putting hilux 4 pot brake calipers would satisfy the certifier in NZ for a 280zx with a 25DET? Thinking of getting car on road asap and then working on 5 stud hubs and coilovers as well as better brakes later on.

BTW, I don't know how current the information on the link is. I would call and check before making any plans.

I have to say that I really like the look of your car from outside. Hope to do the coilovers on mine soon. Being in NZ, we don't seem to have rust in this way. Good on you for taking this on.
