twin turbo, transbrake, I think you really want a 9" under that Z. The 9" doesn't bolt in, you have to be friendly with a welder and bender, but you can hammer it and not worry. My na sbc Z has had 1.15 60ft's with a 9" rear under it.

Congrats on the cars and the times. I knew there was a quicker small block Z out there. Now we have someone in the 7 second range on the time slip page.

It all helps. Aluminum and titanium are your friends.I have an aluminum drive shaft, aluminum spool, cut back ring gear, aluminum pinion yoke, rifle drilled axels with titanium drive studs and aluminum lug nuts. Make everthing that you turn over light as you can.

I just got back last night about 11:30. Feet hurt, knees hurt, walk walk walk. Went through all the SEMA stuff Tues. and Wed. hit the APEX show Thurs.Used the monorail system which beat the heck out of the shuttle busses.Lots of fun, lots of goodies on desplay.

445" AJ 481X .Olds heads, blown alky. Went 5.50's in a TAD. Going in a F/C chassis with a 32 Bantam shell. Easy 6's with a little blower.

Try the Hooker swap headers. 1 5/8" long tube .

Jesel KSS 335050 will fit the Edelbrock and AFR heads. $795 at Jesel, probably cheaper through Summit or Jegs. Once you go shaft you will never go back.

1 5/8" primary and I believe they had a 2 1/2" collector. I had a set on one of my first Z's.

If you would like it to leave a little harder with the converter that you are using now, don't bring it up on the foot brake .
depending on how high I brake stall it (so far, around 2800-3100 rpm),
Come up to the line at an idle and then matt it. It will flash higher and hit the tires harder. Better 60ft. times and et's.

anti roll is a soild rear end deal, I have one on my chassis but I also have a soild axel. Don't worry about a anti roll with the IRS.

Going to be hard to hook up on a cold track. I heard a freeze warning and low of 25 over night with a high of 50. If you hook you should fly. Should be great air.
