  1. any test of the front lower spoiler like the one on Lowrider's car above?
  2. Howdy all, would anyone have stock dyno figures for a L26? stock maybe with just exhaust and intake? I know they are rated 150HP at crank from factory. Thanks heaps. heres mine for pics.
  3. wow he sold up.......amazing........I think when you pump too much money into a car your doomed to sell...........have seen it so often.
  4. Hi guys, just a quick one - does anyone know if there is any difference in the offset of the 240z hubs vs the 280z hubs? pictured. Thanks, William.
  5. how do you check the timing of the car when you can't see the timing chain? do you check alternator belt with a timing gun? sorry I'm very new to L's. I did a good service on it when i first got it about 2 months ago........new spark plugs, wites, oil.
  6. I guess what triggered all this was very poor fuel mileage....i'm getting 190 miles / full 45L tank which is shocking. Do you know of any ways to improve the fuel mileage?
  7. Hi guys, I did a search and it seems most ppl on here have L28's so I couldn't find what I was looking for. My Engine:L26 late model E88 head. Stock round top SU's with trumpets and Full exhaust. I was hoping someone on here would know what would be a good A/F ratio to aim at under the current set up. And is there a systematic way to set the A/F ratio as it simply just a nut under the SU's. i.e increments being inconsistant. Cheers, William. I run socks on them.
  8. I love how the quantity of every car on this earth is x 100 in USA.
  9. thanks heaps mate..........hopefully a flat head and hammer will do it......hope it's easy to put back together : ).
  10. Hi guys, I'm new to the Z's and am stuck with removing the rear passenger side brake cylinder (australian right had drive). I got to the cylinder but can't seem to be able to remove it. Do I have to undo that horse shoe cir-clip disc thing somehow? If so how? other side of drum brake. I'm hoping to order the brake cylinder tmrw and have it fix up after work. It all started when I innocently started to bleed the rear brake fluid. Felt good at the time till the bleed valve threaded the cylinder thread and wouldn't tighten up. I only got the car last week so haven't had a chance to get a Haynes as yet. Also have done a search as well but no mention of how to remove brake cylinder. Thanks heaps in advance. My new obsession
  11. going to tatoo what BRAAP posted on my back like prison break.........so i can build my own race head to get away from coppers.........hahahhaha.
  12. Just got mine last tuesday for $7,000AUS so around $5,200US. Loving it to bits including the free fumes : ) sig for info.
