I had the engine torn apart and found out that it is not a complete HKS 2.8 kit. But it is a 2.8 kit and the parts are pretty good. HKS full counter stroker crank. Crower rods and some unknown pistons. I also came across some LED tail lights, an R33 GT-R Mission, new trunk lid with the lip that I like on it and new headlights because mine are cross eyed. Threads suck without pics so... here they are!.... My engine is built. Head is on. Turbos are hung. Car should be driving by next weekend.

BTW, this is going to be a twisties car. I'm not aiming for any 1/4 mile times at all. I'm looking for response and a good suspension setup.

engine itself (bottom/top/head) is good for 800/850 HP but my turbines will be the limiting factor. I'll more than likely upgrade the turbines. engine is down at the shop now and I'm in a rental car. I'll keep you posted on the updates of the engine rebuild and swap. all of my parts are in except my intercooler. OS giken 2 plate damper type clutch. twin GTS-t type M AFMs, Greddy pod filters, SARD 280 fuel pump, copper radiator, and I'm just going with N1's for now. Probably going with 2530's in a few months or a year or possibly something a little larger. But keeping twins.

got the motor for 4000 dollars with the PowerFC and Commander. And yes it's a real HKS 2.8 stroker kit. Perfect for Touge.

New motor. 2.8 HKS stroker stage 2 kit with 280 Cams that are going to get swapped out. More to come in the following weeks.... probably be going with 2530's. Dougs old cracked bumper. There is about a 6 CM difference in width but a dremel and some welding can fix that. I've got a 180SX for parts and I was wondering if it would be smart to try to use the crossmember from the 180 in the Z? Cut out all of the steering rack mount parts, weld in 4 studs and bolt the second crossmember to the Z instead of using the prefabbed stuff and or making my own mounts. Either way it's a light amount of fabbing... just wondering has anyone done it? Height comparison?

My Z shipping from Cali to Okinawa was 13000 with household goods. Just the car is a few grand. 3-5 I guess? Be sure to throw a bunch of engines and ♥♥♥♥ in your container too if you plan on doing that.
