  1. Just amazing the quality of work that is not there! Glad I do all my own installs in everything.
  2. Good job Mull. That made it look 1000 times better just moving them to the outside.
  3. You are correct, but it makes it look like a premature newborn baby.
  4. Man that thing makes the T3 look like a little baby!
  5. Does anyone ever actually buy into this kind of crap?
  6. Good Job! Just one question, Is there a reason you put your BOV that far away from your TB?
  7. That would be a sweet motor in a Z. There was some talk about it on here before, but most people tend to think it may be too tall to fit under the stock hood. Have you taken any measurements? With some tweaks you should be able to make some nice power out of it. Can't wait to see how this turns out for you.
  8. Just use tuner lug nuts. There are ones that take an allen type key. like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lug-Nuts-Tuner-12x1-25-16-Nissan-Subaru-Infiniti-Red_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33749QQihZ017QQitemZ270219945574QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Oops these have a 10 point, but there are similar ones that take a regular allen.
  9. I love them too! Are they CCW's, Bose? The whole car is amazing minus the rear fender wowie.
  10. Oh, and don't seal it with a cheap clear, you might run into the same incompatiblitiy problems with the topcoats. Not to mention future adhesion problems that can arise months or years down the road. Use a primer sealer form the same maker of your paint, and clear. The key is to use all the same brand products.
  11. Re sand and smooth out the whole car, them spray a primer sealer then basecoat and finally the clear. What paint system are you using? I use RM products, and the primer sealer is wet on wet, meaning you spray the primer sealer, let it flash, then the base, let it flash, and finally the clear. All in one setting. What happened, and happened to me when I first started playing with paint, is the solvents in the paint go down before they come out, and if there is no sealer then any uncompatiblities in what is underneath will cause it to wrinkle, and or lift. It will do it worse in areas that were sprayed heavier, and may not do it at all in areas that had lighter coats.
  12. I have searched here, and on the net, and can't get a definate answer to what the stock turbo on a RB25det can handle. I have read 10 PSI max, and others say you shouldn't run it past the stock 7 PSI, or the wheels will grenade. Anyone know for sure? Also would 10PSI get this motor to 300HP? The stock turbo looks kinda small and I believe I read it was a t28, and also read it was a t3. I have decided to go ahead and do the RB25 in my 260Z, and eventually I intend to upgrade the Turbo, etc. I will be aiming for 400-450 in the future with upgrades, but if I could hit 300 with the stock one, that would keep me happy for a little while.
  13. Are you running the big cam in this vid, or the stock one? Very impressive!
  14. I Couldn't believe how awesome that last burnout was! He looked a little pooped out.
  15. Yep 800 RMK 159" track 8" billet wheels, SLP ceramic coated pipe, porting, BOSS lightweight seat, and nitrous to get me out of trouble, or maybe it gets me in trouble.
