  1. I may have missed it but do you offer door panels for a 240Z? Thank you, Al Keller
  2. Hello, I need to replace my rear valance - good rust free part, new or used. Can you suggest a good source please? Thank you, Al Keller Hartville, OH 234-214-7379
  3. Thanks for posting!! I saw this car at SEMA a few weeks ago and was REALLY impressed with the combination of classic Z Car beauty and really well done "modern" interpretation of the new body parts. Beautiful car guys - keep up the good work. Al Keller aw-keller@earthlink.net
  4. Beside me, who has or is building one of this style Z Car? Pictures??? Thanks, Al Keller '72 Z Car to be finished next year!!!!
  5. I've searched and not found anything covering this subject. I want to know which would provide more down force - a whale tail spoiler or a wing. Have any of you used a wing? If yes which one? I've seen a few pictures of S30s with wings that looked pretty good. Thank you for your help and guidance Al Keller 330-877-9189 al_keller@earthlink.net
  6. Hello! I may be the guy you were referring to. I'm working on my 240Z with the IMSA body panels and C-4 Vette suspension front and rear. Realize that my car has a tube chassis but I did not have to narrow the Vette stuff - I was able to order wheels with the correct off-set to fit well. The car is in the shop getting the interior panels and some other stuff but I'll be in there one day next week to work on it. Let me know if I can help you. Al Keller
  7. Scott, Thank you for the information. That makes sense. How much ground clearance do you have under the air dam? On another subject, where did you find the rear view mirrors? Again, thanks very much! Al
  8. Scott, I've been following this thread and have a question - I think I know the answer but wanted your thoughts. I'm still trying to understand to aerodynamics of our Z Cars. Why didn't you carry the belly pan forward of the front edge of the air dam? Thanks for sharing your project! Al Keller
  9. Thanks for all the replys and suggestions. 1. The fenders came from Z Products. They have been out of business for a while. Talk to Brian at www.zccjdm.com He offers the same thing at a reasonable price and very high quality. 2. Bartman - where did those side vents come from? They look bigger than the Cobra side vents. 3. Capt Furious - I used the Cobra vents in the hood and was thinking about something a little larger for the fenders. Sort of like the ones on the Ferrari GTO replicas or .... Again, many thanks for your help. Al
  10. Hello, I've searched everywhere that I can think of on Hybrid Z and found nothing. I'm thinking about vents in the front fenders to help vent engine compartment. Have any of you used them and do they make a difference? Is one type or location better than another. I'm already using vents in the hood. Thank you for your help. 11. On page 136 of Street Rodder Magazine November, 2008, there is a very good article called "Smooth as Glass - the art of blocking fiberglass". It discusses this subject in pretty good detail. I couldn't find the article on the web site but I'll bet back issues are available. Al
  12. Couldn't leave well enough alone... Tube chassis & full cage C-4 Vette suspension front & rear Ford 408" Windsor & TKO IMSA fenders front & rear G nose Don't mock the afflicted - just send money!! Al
  13. Search through this site and other Z sites. There are 100s of pictures of the Z in different colors. Maybe that will help you. Ultimately, it's your call. Al
  14. Clifton... Sorry for not responding sooner - I've been working on the car. I bought the panels used a few years ago. The company that made them is Z Products and, unfortunately, they went out of business years ago. They are basically pretty good but they will take hours to make them right!! BTW I really like the looks of your car. The color scheme is brilliant!! Al
