  1. Are these horn repair inserts still available? Have two pads which need this fix. I've not been able to contact him; says he can't receive messages ... ?? thanks!
  2. I struck out searching for broken T/C rods and poly bushings. I've them in mine and could you write a line or two summarizing the problem and what to look for? Thank you very much. Wouldn't like a T/C rod to break zooming around the hills. Thank you!
  3. So that's what the bracket is for; flares! Mine had a flashlight in it when I got it 34 or so years ago. Any pics of the actual "flare pack" that is supposed to go in it?
  4. Good to see someone else restoring/refreshing/rebuilding another FairladyZ! To inspire you, here's how mine ended up. 1971 FairladyZ-L
  5. Got a set ... at $350 ... looks like they were made by the original supplier to NISSAN .. no difference from what's on the car, except a different symbol for maker.
  6. Any ideas how/where to obtain a pair of wiper arms for the RHD early Z cars? I need a set for Fairlady Z, 1971. RHD. Reproductions would be fine. As would a set off a wrecked RHD. Thanks!
  7. I'd like to contact them about a plate for the FairladyZ and have not been able to find a connection which worked. Correct, the car does not have a VIN cutout in the dash, nor a door pillar tag. Wonder about what stickers and decals were in the engine compartment ...
  8. I tried that email address and it comes back as an invalid email address format. Could you check the address again? Thank you.
  9. That's really good information; thank you! It has the engraved number on the firewall; missing the strut tower tag.
  10. No vents on the hatch. 1971 .... early Z .... the emblems are fine and correct; it's the ID plate from the strut tower on the right side of the engine compartment and the tag from the door pillar. Needs to be JDM car ....
  11. The driveshaft may need to be one from a 2000 Roadster ... mine is shorter than the normal ones on the RHD FairladyZ-L, which has the factory 5-speed ....
  12. 1971 FairladyZ-L .... 2008 Portland Roadster Show Class Winner ...
  13. I"ve restored a 1971 FairladyZ-L and am into it about .... mmmmmm .... with the paint and all, probably approaching $10,000 .... parts are VERY hard to find for RHD and especially that old. Best of luck!! I've been searching for the engine compartment ID plate for oh about 7 years without any luck. If I had known about this one ... my brother in Cambridge Ohio would have SWOOPED on the ID plate! If you decide otherwise on restoration I'd sure be interested in the ID plates. Or a set off any 1971 RHD 240Z .... if anyone knows of one and wants to make a buck or three ....
