Hey, what you doing next weekend? Why don't you fly down to Orlando and help me with mine.
Looks great! Finish that thing and drive down for Z Nationals!
-
Cool

Looks like a great project.
-
Planning on going to Z nationals. Before I go I need some things updated.
1 - brakes
The z32 brakes work to good. Using the z32 master cylinder and booster I am getting an over boost on the brakes, meaning initial stopping will almost always lock the brakes up. If you really concentrate you can stop without doing it. So I am going to put a stock master cylinder and booster of a 280zx. Size difference is over an inch. Hopefully this eliminates that issue.2 - seat belts
I have done some time attacks with car. The stock seat belts do not hold me in place. So I am getting race harness 5 point seat belts. If you watch my videos earlier in this post you will see what I mean.
3 - radiator over flow
Don't have one, will install one. Don't know what bit will be searching the pick n pay for a suitable one. -
That should wake it up

550 hp to the wheels
Or enough traction for a 1.3 60 ft. 450hp

Thanks gives me ideas on my install. Nice touch on the powder coating , u have a small oven.

Great work. Keep it up.
Did you say you used some body filler on the other side? Seems that would Crack under the stress.

You can use a ZX Booster if you can't find what you want. I installed an 83zx booster in my 260z it fits in it upside down, it doesn't know the difference. )
What master cylinder did you use with the 83zx booster?

Need a 74 or equivalent brake booster for my Z. Offers shipped to 32825.
-
I would get megasquirt for engine management. 280 turbo exhaust manifold. Intercooler and plumbing. Your choice on turbo. Stock to wild that is.

E.t is indication of the 60 ft. MPH is indication of horse power.
Have ran 14.1 at 104 and a 13.4 at 104. Same car, same day, same track. 2.6 60 ft compared to a 1.91.

The link I gave u has instructions for 260z. That is what I have

I did a lot with street tires. If radials I had some good luck running high pressure. 35lbs. As Rebekahsz said control the tire spin but don't burn the clutch. When setting the second bulb use the e-brake to stage. Hold the button in and try to pre-load the driveline. This eliminates the shock load value when putting the power down.
When launching the car, release the e-brake all the way (don't need full on braking) at the same time you engage clutch.
Tough issue is boost and lag. I was able to get under 2.0 doing this. 1.94 being the best. But that would put you in the 13.6 to 13.8.
Practice.

Great , I know it takes time and money.
Tranny was 600$.
Best bet is buy a sr20det with the tranny. Go ahead and get the drive axle with the diff. The tranny does not come with a speedo port. I had zenke machine my speedo access into the tranny.
Buy the whole set up for $2500 on ebay.
Good luck

I used a 96 pass Mesa cooler.

Yes u can keep the pump separate. Eccs just does the safety shut after 5 seconds of no ignition if the key is turned on.
I still have the fuel pump separate on the megasquirt setup.

This is what I used as far as wiring. Double check your resistor pick ups. Double check your wire connections. I was using a GM weather pack plugs and kept losing sync. So i took that off and ended up using the stock round datsun dizzy plug. Then butt connectors with aluminum foil wrap to make sure no cross signal.
