  1. i looked at using the z 32 tranny and the cost of having adaptors made wasn't that much less than a t 56...im in the process of doing it now. i'm using stock ls motor mounts.. one of the biggest things i've found is the " massaging of the trannt tunnel...i've got alot of info from alot of searching. pm me and i will help you any way i can.
  2. I searched the forumns and no answer...does anyone know what is the widdest tire that you can put under a stock suspension z32 with sotck rims. i want to keep that all original look. and pt. 2 what is the widest tire possible...
  3. Mark, thanks for an answer and not just telling me to search...
  4. i did and didn't find anyhting that was like an answer.
  5. does anyone know if this can be done, has it and what will it take? Why because the price of a t 56 is forcing me over budget.
  6. need some help on finding which long tubes will work with a ls6 into a z32 swap.
  7. cool project, did you have to message the firewall any? also i would love to have some pics. of the engine mounts. i'm going to be doing thew same thing, except i'm not using the stock tranny. i've got a few questions about the electronics i would love to ask you if don't mind.
  8. sorry guys, i'm doing A z-32 swap and trying to get a lead on which headers will clear the steering linkage and underside of the car.
  9. what headers do i need to use for a lsx swap. i would like to use long tubes.
  10. why don't you just put an lsx engine in it. more bang for the $$$. and alot more potential.
  11. http://www.vengeancerd.com/cart/index.php try these guys. a few of my freinds have used their stuff, i'm going to as well. really helpful over the phone.
  12. i'm looking to do a ls2 conversion, so i'm lookin for a z 32 with a good shell. engine and tranny condition are of no concern.
  13. must agree with Dr. Hunt. for what you are already spending, another $350-400 for rods and bolts that you will not have worries about, should be a no brainer. i used to have a 383 also and 6200-6500 with a blower on top was the most i was spinning. also if you are worried about rpm's them buy a matched f/i cam to match your heads and rpm worries. there are alot of good companies out there that are only a phone call away and willing to lend some help.
