  1. My best 1/8th mile time so far with my S30 is 9.54@69mph. But the 1/8th track here is 60ft short cause of stopping distance. I think it would be around a 9.6-9.65 for a true 1/8th. I guess I will find out for sure at the Reynolds Event.. unfortunatly I am still non turbo.. but I plan on trying to get the time after the event..
  2. Looks to be really nice.. How much where you thinking? also.. is that to bolt up to a stock T3? or external wastgate T3? But really looking good.
  3. I agree with Rick. I have been apart this this site for some time know.I dont post too much but do read here everyday weather it be in the archives or just daily posts.I feel like it is my home . I have met and made friends from alot who post here.(SEZM1,SEZM2) I have a L6-3.0ltr stroker motor that I will be turboing as soon as I can get some down time. I have no bias to what goes in to power the Z. Heck I love seing High HP performace Z cars no matter what is in them. I just hope not to be put on the chopping block cause I dont have a GM or domestic motor. I consider having parts of a 240sx ,240z , 280z , 280zxT- to be a hybrid. I agree to consolidating some of the sections(and getting rid of the Rif Raf) but would hate to not be allowed to ask questions and be around other people who are serious about tuning and power that goes into the Z car. As for myself I plan on staying around as long as I can. On a final Note. I think the moderators have a very tough job and are doing a great job. I Love this site and the very diverse Knowlege that is on here.For that I Thank you.

  5. I got the Tokico kit from Shox.com. Man it looks NICE.. The kit came with 4 springs and 4 Tokico HP struts. I did the suspension when I had the 280zx and it was abit easier then the S30. I went over to Pallnets house to get help on the installation. All went well. He showed me alot on the Suspension of the S30. I forgot my bumpstops and boots. But not a problem cause Peter has anything and everything in his Garage. It is like a labrenth of Z parts. Well I really like the way it looks and feels. A good bit stiffer but I need Polly bushings through out and thicker sway bars. I will have some pics up soon on my site. Thanks again Peter!!.. The Zen mechanic helps out another Grasshopper..

  10. Pallnet came over this weekend and helped out with the installation with my MSD. looks good. I put it in the cab of the Z, On the passenger side firewall. Cant event see it. . Well What kind of Gap do you guys run on a N/A motor with MSD? I have it at 50. And it is running pretty good but has a slight mis. I think I am going to regap them at 40-45. I know when I go turbo I will gap then down a good bit. Thanks..

  13. I will be there in my 3.0ltr stroker.. Hopfully turboed by then.. Just trying to figure out a couple of the things on the wiring harness before I take a weekend and do it. This is my daily driver so I want it to go smooth as possible.. hehe.. yeah like that will happen hahaha. Yeah James cannot wait to see that Beast of a L28 RUN!!!.

  15. My 3.0 ltr stroker is a N42 also.. Boost is comming soon also.. My compression is 8.2.1 I am thinking it is gonig to be NICE!!
  16. Ross, Thanks for the info.. And no I have not done any machining.. I know it is an art and requiares great skill. I just dont have alot of money to spend but I want to do the job correctly so I will be getting the brackets from you I am sure.Did not mean to make it sound like They were not worth it as I am sure they are.   17. well I got a set of 240SX calipers. I am going to order the Modern motorsports brackets for the rear disk conversion. .. Wish there were a cheaper way.. Ok. My question is which Rotors do I use with the 240SX calipers and how do I rehook up my parking brake? I am doing the toyota 4x4 upgrade this week.. I cannot wait for stopping power!!   18. On my 280zx I had eibach springs with tokico Blues.. I liked that setup. Now for the S30.. What is the best for the buck? I use the car as a daily driver. I also will be doing some autoX.. and drags.. So what do you guys think I should go with? I dont want a super stiff ride but do want the Z to handle. Thanks guys!!

  21. I just changed them 5 days ago. The previous owner had Bosh in there. I put in trusty NGK. I will check them tomarrow. Thanks..
