Just a question regarding the A/C: do you have it? And if you do, did you just bring the entire unit over? Also, since the individual vents for the passenger and driver are in the doors, did you swap the door panels as well?

I found a couple of threads on the same subject but none of them really answered my question. I have a '72 240Z and I'm looking for an air conditioning kit that will either bolt right in or with an absolute minimum amount of work, as this car is my daily driver and I can't afford for it to be on blocks for a week. I've heard mentions of the MSA kit and Vintage Air, are there any other suggestions?

I have an automatic 240Z which simply isn't cutting it for me. I could replace it with a factory 4 speed but iIwas curious if I could swap the 5 speed from a later model without too much trouble. What I'm basically asking is; would it be a drop in swap or would I need a kit or fabricating? Any thoughts??

this kit would fit an l24 engine as well, right?
