  1. I've been looking everywhere for a Nissan Competition or Motorsports header for the past few months. Those are pretty darn hard to find these days. My car is Right hand drive which means NO STEERING SHAFT to get in the way! Yippy!!! Lol
  2. Just a fun street car. Extensive head work. Nasty cam. I want to know who has the biggest runners and best collectors as well as equal lengths.
  3. I've searched and I apologize if I haven't seen it, but here goes... What is the best header for a square port N42 head? How is the Clifford? And any experience or dyno numbers from the one off Ebay from Top End Performance? Thanks in advance!
  4. I have one as well in GA. I know of another that is South of Atlanta but not in running shape. His is a 2+2.
  5. I'm actually looking to flare the car all around, but I'll prob her some 16's to do that with. Thanks!
  6. Which ones are those? 15x7, 4x114.3 lug patterns, with 0 offset? Or 16"s??
  7. You CAN weld aluminum! It isn't that bad. And I'm in the process of smoothing my valve cover as well. I took a slightly different approach and cleaned the valve cover really well, then filled in the letters and valleys with JB weld first. Now I've set it up on the mill and machined it perfectly flat that way. Now the original meat of the valve cover is still there with just a little bit of jb weld on top. That way, if I lean over to work in the engine bay and accidentally set my hand on it, I won't go through the paper thin valve cover lol... I'll post pics of mine when finished.
  8. Ok, online sources says it is 4.7". My measurements say 4.8125". Let me know what ya think! Thanks!
  9. No, I bought them on purpose because they were a great deal! I could sell them and easily double my money but if it only takes $140 for adapters and they'll clear tue AZC brake kit, then they're going on the Z!
  10. I was reading that the AZC big brake kit will clear some 15" wheels.. Just wanted to make sure these would work before I went out and bought the $140 adapters! Lol
  11. I picked up a nice set of rewinds for a GOOD deal, only problem is that they are the 4x110 bolt pattern with a +20 offset. 15"x7". Now I have come across a really nice wheel adapter manufacturer to allow these 4x110's to mount on the Datsun 4x113.5's. They are 1" thick as well. Would this setup clear and have enough room for the Arizona Z Car big brake kit with the 4 piston Wilwoods?? Thanks in advance!
  12. It didn't "die" lol it is still here. I work 50-60 hours a week and have plenty other work when I get home. It is now past 3 in the morning and the first time that I've been able to get on here in a while. I'm going to get a full history report on the Fairlady from the link Tony D gave me. I'll do that in a couple of weeks or so and relay the info on to you guys. For what it is worth, I phone an old cell phone of mine and the phone number to the second owner was still in the phone. I contacted that number and it is still Mr Stephens! But here is the sad part... His original story of it belonging to an air force buddy in Europe, well, he said that honestly all he knows is that he owned the Fairlady and did the mods. He doesn't remember the original owner, what country it came from, who he sold it to, or anything. Pretty useless info there. And pretty disheartening. However, like I said, I will use that link to see who brought her out of Japan. The VIN def indicates a pure Japanese Fairlady so stayed tuned! And due to my busy schedule, def won't be any real updates in the next week or so, so don't get your panties in a bunch!
  13. And I still have my mind set in stone in not selling her. She is staying with me for good! I've always wanted a Z, any 240/60/80Z, NO ZX, and when this girl popped up, I fell in love immediately. Somebody else snatched her up that day and I was devastated. Then a year or two later she was available again and I jumped all over her. I've had her for 7 years now. I won't let her get away from me now! It's not about the money at all. She's my baby.
