  1. The last thing to do is make the tach work, I used the blue wire from the ign box with a 15k resister and connected to the HEI tach output. The tach stay maxed 99% of the time, when it dose move it's all over the place. My ? is can I connect the HEI output straight to the tach with the resister and bypass the stock wiring,if so what which terminal (top or bottom)

  2. I have a 78 280Z, the motor is a mild 350. I'm cleaning the bay up, I want to remove the engine fuel wiring, it looks like it all goes to the computor but there is a small 4 wire plug under the steering column and a small silver thing with 2 plugs under the hood behind the wiper bottle. Can it all be removed, and is the plug under the column needed.

  3. I've made a couple of dashes, start with the metal that is in the stock dash, that way it will bolt in easyer. Use wood connected to the metal to get your basic shape, then glass your shape from there, Your design is going to be hard to cover without seams.I have a lot of pics of the dash I made for my transAm Roadster, it's about 90% complete. I don't know how this site is about pics here's a couple,I do have pics of every step if you want. There is going to be a carbonfiber insert with the grills blacked out .
