  1. Iinstalled an OBX into my Datsun R200 diff. The washers failed after only 4 hours of track testing. They were essentially flattened. We were not aware of the reversed gear trick (just found this thread today), and replaced the washers with a heavy coil spring. We have only driven it on the street a few kilometres since, but it seems to work. Will see if it lasts any longer than the original washers...
  2. I had a heck of a time as well.I ended up using a bicycle spoke to push each ball and spacer down as far as they would go into the shaft.
  3. I recently installed a pair of G-Force camlock 5 point harnesses. G-Force apparently does not offer left and right options for the camlock - they are always on the right hand belt. This is fine for the driver, but on the passenger side the camlock always flops out onto the ground when exiting, and unless my navigator is careful when entering, the camlock jams between the seat and the door, making it impossible to retrieve unless the door is opened. G-Force has not responded to any of my inquiries, so before I take the buckle apart I wonder if anyone has managed to swap the camlock buckle from right to left lap-belts? I know some one is going to ask, so no, just swapping the entire belt does not work, because the buckle is then upside down...
  4. Not an entirely accurate statement. At best, this might be the 2nd 240Z titled in USA. The Z had been on sale in Japan for about a year prior to the first shipment to USA. I own a 1969 240Z VIN#HS30-430. The L in the VIN number denotes left-hand drive for the North American market.
