  1. Just started parting a 73, I will get a look at that part this afternoon. From a 2/73 Just in case Zedsn does not have one for you.
  2. I have one from a 72 240Z and, one from a 73 240Z. If those would work for you. Shipping would be the issue for me, but I am a little further South in WA if you were willing to come down near Olympia.
  3. Here are some pic's. I can send more if you have any interest. I don't see any holes or weak spots. Some rust flakes did come out of the header when banged on the stump. I'd have to say the collector is the worst, but again not rusted all the way through. The car had been in water about 4 inches up the radiator, but unknown for how long. (there was a water line on the radiator) The car was was found buried in the sticker bushes by the guy who bought the property at auction.
  4. I have a rusty header off a 240Z flood car I got cheap. It had an L28 with an N42 head. 6->2 plus the collector. It's the shipping to KY that will cost the most. Pic's available tomorrow afternoon.
  5. This was just on CL near Portland OR. I finally got ahold of the seller, he said it sold within 30 min. of the posting last night. Nissan 240z datson (replica).pdf
  6. Not normally in a clutch kit. The throwout bearing does come with the kit as shown in the lower right part of the ACT picture of the kit. The pic I uploaded does show a TB on the top of both collars. The collar is what the fork pushes on to release the clutch. Shorter one on the 240MM as the overall "height" of the plate / pressure plate is more than the 225 mm. At least for stock clutch parts from Nissan. I do not know the overall "height" thickness of the ACT clutch. You might inquire about that, before you get it all bolted in and find you need the other collar. JMHO. Here are the collars with out the TB's mounted on them.
  7. You are correct, I had it backwards the 240mm is shorter. Clutch fingers sit a little further out on the 2+2 and Turbo. The right had one is a 240mm set up and the left is a 225mm set up. (Datsun OEM parts) OP did not post a brand. It will take more than a correction to offend me Zed Head, thanks.
  8. Make sure to use the TB collar from the 240MM set up as well. It is a little longer.
  9. I don't have any 280 seats to refer to but I can offer this info. The 70 - 71 seats had a wide leathery type of strap supporting the foam. Later in 71 and at least through the 260 the seats support changed to a squiggly spring support. I had taken the two types apart to put the spring support in my early 70 seats and found the base foam was thinner on the later spring supported seat. The covers looked to be very similar but might be a different height as well. Ironically I abandoned the plan to go with some Recaros I had in an old 4runner. Not sure if that helps you in you case.
  10. I have these from an early 260Z, they are a bit weathered and one of the chrome trim mount holes is broken.
  11. I have this one available, still has some old grease in it, and the races are still in there too. All the threads look good, it should clean up nice.
  12. They are a bit dirty and a minor about of surface rust, as expected for the age and the condition of the cars I part out. The spring parts do function, I cleaned out the old dried up grease and sprayed some Tri-Flow on there and they move fine. They will still need some clean up. I will PM the price PM me if you are interested. Alicia, I looked at this site too and I did not see where thy offer these parts. TotalZparts(dot)com has the hatch plates for $75 but does not have the door parts. I did find complete door latch sets on eBay for $160.
  13. I work some crazy hours, It snowed here, and I turned in early. I'll get some pics, and answers for you this afternoon.
  14. I have both pieces if zedsn can't help you out. My set would just need some clean up, they are not a clean and new looking as you pics.
  15. ZH I too thought superduner was looking for #25 but he indicated #26 I have one from an early 260 which looks beefier than my early 240 piece. There are some superseded numbers there too. It should be a 55411-N3101 (08/73 on) The new number listed is 55411-N4700 which says from 01/77 on I have the mount 55415-E8301 which the manual now says it supersedes to a 55415-N4200 but is compatible. I don't have an R200 to compare it to.
  16. PM sent Although The diff mount is not gold but good, lol.
  17. I have a set of those plates. Not as pretty as you example, but in decent shape.
  18. I have one available off an early 260 but is the non scalloped 280 style. The studs are there and clean disc mounting threads. There was a small amount of marring under where the outer race sits. (from a PO bearing change i expect.) The race was tight when I removed it. Good useable hub, $50 shipped
  19. The automatic had an small shield on the bottom to make up the whole cover. like #31 in this diagram. http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun/Z-1969-1978/power-train/transmission-case/automatic/from-apr-71 If you are running a manual trans you will want to find the full cover as mentioned above.
  20. Sorry I am up very early for work on the weekdays. 240's and 260's are similar though. Like Zed Head mentioned the rear end (diff) complements the transmission. To get the most from a 5 speed it is a wise choice to match a diff for the driving you want to do. Stock 4 speeds came with 3.36 Stock Automatics came with 3.54 280 and 280ZX 5 speeds had 3.90 there are truck diffs in 4.11 and 4.32 Maxima had a 3.70 but needs some mods to make it bolt up. All can make the power band in different RPM's so it really depends on what you intend to do with the car. I have a 3.54 with my 4 speed and like it for the most part but it still rev's high on the highway. The PO had 4.11 in it for autocross and that was terrible on the highway. 1st gear was pretty much useless. My plan is for an 83 280ZX 5 speed and an 84 Maxima 3.70 R180 diff, I am staying with the L24 too. If I were going for an engine swap I would go another route. I hope the info helps you out. It is not a hard swap just figuring out the gearing for the driving you intend to do makes it a challenge to then find those parts at a decent price.
  21. Here are a couple more pages with good tranny info. If your 260 is an automatic it should have 3.54 gears in the diff. Most 5 speed cars run 3.90. To get the most out of your trans swap you might want to mate it to a different rear ratio diff too. http://www.gracieland.org/cars/techtalk/gearing2.html http://newprotest.org/projects/510/gearRatios.pl
