  1. well thanks to these forums, i was able to aquire a 130mph cluster setup. cant wait to get it in the car. still looking for center gauge pod setup.
  2. i would be greatly interested im seeing your back plate setup.
  3. well last i heard they are looking to bring the fiat 500 to the states. give it a year or two. with the whole downturn of the economy to bail out the "big three", fiat had something to do with it for saving them. so yeah expect to see them in the states soon enough.

  5. i happen to use 60amp on my Zs. doesnt make a difference which one you choose.
  6. welll im doing just about the same thing. another thing i was looking at doing was add replacing valve springs. just want to keep freshing up the top end of the motor too yaknow.
  7. well i have l28et i was working on swapping. this is the first swap ive done. but anyway, was looking over the motor and came across look at the turbo.now it looks like something got in it and chewed up all the blades. but at the same time it looks like maybe it machined that way. lil unsure and was hoping the Z-forum world could me a hand. am i going crazy or is this the way its suppose to look? now i can certainly try to get more pics as requested.
  8. well i currently am working on a 1980 280ZX 2+2 and undergoing a turbo motor swap. ive aquired a 83 motor, 83 ECU and wire harness, and was looking to update my gauges. now i was hoping to go for the 130mph needle cluster, but it recently has been brought to my attention that the 130mph gauges were only available in the 1979 models (did not know that before). so i was wondering would it be worth getting the 130mph cluster, and would it actually work on a newer setup? would appreciate some help, comments, or maybe even a how to convert if one exist.

  10. well how much for the center gauge pod. oil temp/oil pressure/ boost/clock? and yeah im in the lower states. south dakota actually.
  11. im currently in the process of undergoing a l28et swap into my 80 280zx 2+2 non turbo. i would like to find a turbo gauge setup to accomidate the swap. 140mph dash, and turbo dash pod gauges. please feel fell to contact me at k1evo2@yahoo. i am more then willing to bargain a deal if one can be made.
  12. well i aquired my s130 by trading off my 94 ranger pickup.. when i saw it i was like i have to have this. after bout three weeks into it a bearing went out and blew the engine when trying to get it home. im really considering to try and see if i can pull apart the internals off my 74 240z and rebuild my 280zx. overall trying to restore the car to its glory days with some unique touches. bone stock s130. hoosier 205/65/14 ngk iridium spark plugs ngk park plug wires cone air filter (orignal air filter was in bad shape and no place local carries one) heat faded paint cracked dash faded and ripped door panals and wear it all with pride. its a great lil car and i hope to get out on the road again soon. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 80 280zx 74 240z (parts car for sale) 93 altima (parts car for sale)
  13. 93 gxe , but yeah im totally into finding some more parts so please let me know whats out there...even if its stock. something is better then nothing right now... i just hate to see the car sit for so long.
  14. well although it is out of a Altima.. Its still a KA24.. and since its from a FWD setup. it does put out more then a stock s13 240sx. all the more reason i want to roll with it. and yes it will pair with a 240sx tranny. minor tweeking to air intake obviously and exhaust, but but its what ive got to work with.. so why not take advantage of it..
  15. Ok so im working on a swap. Ive got a '74 240z. and like most of you out there i want to do oh so much to it. well also out in storage i manage to have a nissan altima i use to race around in, but some unforunate wear on it has left me to have to replace the manual transmission on it. not an easy thing to come by. so working on the next best thing. since the motor is solid and knowing how much fun that engine can be, i want to drop it into my Z. Between a buddy and me we manage to come up with needing a 240sx 5 speed tranny, found one (FREE), needed a 240sx header and driveshaft. so moreso im worried bout how well it will match up.. is there any real mods to body i should be given a heads up about? i mean this is my first swap on the Z so just trying to get an insight to what i should expect.
