  1. I did, no answers yet. What can I do with a corrupt Rom?
  2. I am not sure if you can, I also haven't really tried that. It is compatible with windows 7. On the consult interface everytime I press connect, the rx light flickers indicating that the pc is sending out a com signal but that's as far as it gets
  3. I am using a Dell windows 7 laptop. I'm not sure what you mean by change comm ports? It automatically finds the one its in.
  4. Hey guys, I have an issue I can not figure out. I have a rb25det in my 1990 z32, I just got my z32 ecu modified to run a rb25det and Nistune type 2 board installed on it. I can not connect to my ecu on my laptop, every time I try to connect to say Consult not connected COM6:spare, or what ever port on my computer I am plugged into. I have checked and double checked my wiring and test ohms from the consult plug to the ecu plug and everything is good. I have good power and ground. I have checked the diagnostics to make sure my ecu isnt in limp mode. comes up with code 55 ( no current diagnostics) and started my car and it runs and revs over 2500rpms. My computer ports seem to be working fine, they see the consult interface and knows its by Nistune. I don't know what else to do or check?? Any ideas??
  5. Ahh sweet! I will message him! He give pretty good deals? Thanks!
  6. Would I have to send my ecu to nistune to have them install the daughter board?
  7. I would love a standalone but all the standalone that I know of are out of my budget. yeah that is besically what Im doing, I dont have a boost controller on on, just a different wastegate spring.
  8. Hey guys, I am up for a new tuner. Right now I am running with a safc2 on my rb25 and it just can't handle or keep up with what I'm running. I am looking into nistune and the aem fic 6. I don't know a lot about either so I was hoping someone could shed some light if any one has ran either on there rb25 or know much about them.
  9. Hey, I was wondering if anyone had a stock exhaust cam for sale? I found that My key for the CAS broke off. I am thinking about running it how it is for now, the splines on the CAS and the cam are fine and in tacted and hold eachother good, so I don't really see how it could slip. Thoughts?
  10. Sweet! Thanks guys, I do have to get it turned so maybe I will have them check the balance too
  11. I am working on rebuilding my rb25. I found a few pistons with broken ring lands. I am ordering new pistons but they need to know the grade of piston. Are one of the numbers on the top on the piston what grade it is? I am pretty sure its a grade 2 because there is a 2 on the top of the piston but I am not sure if that is where they have it stamped.
  12. Hey guys, so I just got a light weight flywheel for my rb25. I was curious if I am going to have to get the crank re-balanced with the new fly wheel or does it not matter. I'm pretty sure its internally balanced and doesn't matter but I wanted to make sure.
  13. Well that's cool. Thinking it would be easier to keep the rb trans on the motor and get a different rear diff, new drive shaft, and cut a tranny tunnel
  14. So the 944 transmission is under the rear diff.. I did not know this hmm okay.
  15. Oh really, good to hear! It would be sweet, definitely different
