I saved a LD28 from the scrapy last week (missing crank from nissan z guy) and wanted to do a old school repower into something like a late model KJ jeep as we have a few here (NZ) cheap with blown motors that are to expensive to repair, did you know if nissan ever bolted the L series upto a jeep gearbox ? ( i think the ax15 is same as R154, R151 ) ? the KJ comes with a 545rfe auto so not sure if I can run it stand alone without computer and write a Arduino program for shifting the auto or try fit the AX15 trans into the KJ jeep which will be alot more work (pedal box missing etc) , sorry for all the jeep talk. any help would be Awesome.....like how do I get a safe 200hp from a turboed LD28 ? ideas i have....... ( use LD20T pistons for better turbo heat transfer - use LD20t or CD20T boost compensating diaphragm to fit LD28 Pump) regards Brett
